Do sclerotia jars need FAE?

Suppose I innoc'd some quart-jars with a sclerotia producing species. And then I left them in a small, closed space with little to no FAE for several months so that they can grow.
Would the lack of FAE be bad for sclerotia growth? Do sclerotia need some significant amount of air to survive and grow, or can they do well even if there is practically no air from outside the jars?
Thanks in advance for help.

Thanks - I actually haven't noc'd them up yet though; I'm just wondering in advance to figure out if this grow I'm planning will work.
Will leaving say 10 jars in a closed, tight drawer for a few months be feasible in terms of GE?

Just put them on a shelf like you would regular spawn jars...no need for a drawer.

The reason I have to keep them in such a small closed area is that it's going to be a stealth grow.
Here's the situation: I'm going to be leaving all my stuff in a storage (I'm moving out of my apartment soon), and then I will go off to live with my family for a few months. Then by the time I move into my new place, I will have some fully-grown sclerotia ready, waiting for me. At least that's the plan. The storage area I have is pretty secure, but the metal grates of the storage compartment are see-through so I want to keep the jars in one of my suitcases/boxes. I am quite sure that the staff would not break into a customer's locked suitcase for no reason.
So, growing them on a shelf or out in the open is not an option while I am gone. Do you think the tiny amount of GE in a closed suitcase would be enough for some sclerotia growth over the course of a few months? (Sclerotia naturally form underground anyway, where there is minimal FAE, so I figure the situation may have hope than it seems).

They should be fine but sclerotia grow better when exposed to light.

This is right up there with my idea of putting sclerotia grows in a safety deposit box. It's like an account that gains interest while you ignore it.
Make sure the droor isnt packed so tightly that is no free air circulation. You need only Ge for stones but if there's somewhere where the air won't move at all then I feel like normal GE operation would be affected. That doesn't mean they can't be hidden in the drawer though.

Thanks, I will try to take this advice into account when packing my stuff. I might just try putting the jars at the bottoms of some open-top cardboard boxes, and then fill the boxes with lots of dishes and books or something. That way nobody will be able to see them and they'll still get some GE going on.
