Gymnopilus variety? Please help identify.
    #22432422 - 10/25/15 03:37 PM (8 years, 3 months ago)

I think these are a Gym variety but I'm not sure,  are they active?  Thanks

Habitat:
Found these growing out of a dead log in a wetland area.

Spore print color:
Rusty brown/orange

Bruising:
There appeared to be blue/green bruising in one spot in the pic, but after picking and handling no other spots appeared.

Those are active mushrooms.

Hate to do this, but it must be done! Compare to:

Gymnopilus aeruginosus
Gymnopilus braendlei
Gymnopilus junonius
Gymnopilus luteofolius
Gymnopilus viridans
