So here is my newish martha type greenhouse, I haven't actually fruited anything in it yet but you can see I've got a couple buckets with blue oysters that I'm hoping will start fruiting soon.
The RH gets to 90-95% with constant running of the vicks in there, but the only problem is that I have been relentlessly trying to make new things to prevent water from leaking all over the floor. I finally went with this corrugated plastic sheeting to make a tray and while it is not leaking, now the problem is the vapor from the Vicks literally comes out the bottom of the actual greenhouse, travels up, and then out of the tray I have made and condensates when it hits the tile floor.... what a friggin mess lol I cannot get the floor to stay dry no matter what I do apparently!!!!
Any ideas of how I can fix this vapor mess?

What do you plan on growing in there? Here is my greenhouse, The floors only get wet when i mist but im on concrete so its not a big deal.

Ive been growing oysters in bags but plan to shift to wood pellet bags with the tops cut off. Side fruiting bags are a PITA in a martha, a lot of shifting and spinning bags around to harvest.

Are you using a ultrasonic humidifier? If so maybe run a cool mist humidifier, & if you need run the ultrasonic for a few min a hr. I used a cool mist in my GH & it kept the humidity around 85-95%.

put a plastic sheet with finger-size holes on the bottom shelf, it'll trap the decending fog, condensate it and drip it into the tray. then agin, if you left the bottom open for air-exchange purposes, it might work opposite to your goals. also, be careful with the wooden parts exposed to fog, they might go moldy overnight.

Also You might not need to produce as much RH as you are now. Lots of people here says that RH of around 60-70% is enough for oysters, and that FAE is way more important.
I dont have any experience yet, but it seems Stamets recommendations of really high RH does not have to be followed completely.
And of course, with lower RH comes less condensation.

FAE is very very important for oysters. Without it you will end up with long stems. Trumpet looking oysters. Fresh air is best. A few years back I ended up making my greenhouse not sealed and using fans to move a lot of air around. Though you can make it sealed and pipe in a lot of fresh air and pipe out the old air. So it's not going to be truly sealed anyways. But you can control where the air flows in from and out to.
That wood will mold up quick because of the humidity even though it's on the outside. I used PVC pipe from the plumbing section for mine a few years back instead of wood. It's cheap and strong especially if you get the thicker PVC. Not bigger diameter but thicker walls of the pipe.
And what dreadhed and svampnathan was saying about the humidifiers is important. You can pickup a timer so the ultrasonic only runs maybe a few minutes each hour. You might still end up spraying a few times each day with a hand sprayer though, but soaked plastic walls and buckets and such from an ultrasonic will attract mold. It's a balancing act. Also, you will have humidity outside the greenhouse and the walls of the room and mold on such walls to contend with and keep clean, so that is something to think about preventing during your setup.

I had the same problem with my greenhouse setup except I was trying to do this on carpet. I made a sloped, wooden foundation covered in plastic and put the shelves on top. Put j channel on the sides to prevent water from coming off the sides and caulked to make a waterproof seal. Then caught the water with a gutter I made into a drip pan. It's sort of bulky, but so far it's worked and it's infinitely better than continually sopping up moisture off the floor. It probably wouldn't be too hard to do with a single shelf.

plz read my thread above if you haven't already. I've been growing oysters in a martha for a few months now and pretty much have it dialed in. You need at least 2-3" ducting with a 4" or larger fan for a martha unless your growing pinks or oysters. Also you need to exhaust outside not only for spores but so you have fresh low Co2 air.

Thanks for the responses guys. Gr0wer, I should give you credit because my door frame design is actually a spin-off from yours
I think I may try to do what casualgrower has suggested with a plastic lining on the lower shelf with finger sized holes, that should work pretty well. I cut slits in the sides to increase the FAE so the bottom being closed up shouldnt make too big of a difference.
In the future I will probably make my own humidity and FAE automation system but right now I'm going for simplicity and will later make bigger changes.
