Need an ID on this proliferous patch found in Charleston, SC

I was walking by a house earlier today and found this huge patch of mushrooms.  They look edible to me.  What do I have here?  Found in Charleston, SC by this tree stump.

Yes, with caution (they do make some people sick), but those are past their prime. If you're going to eat them, you have to pick them in the button stage.
