Finally a little luck

The big set of brown shrooms were in a mowed/grazed clearing in a park past LaGrande Oregon. Approx 6000FT, deer/elk pellets everywhere. Among the pellets were a couple hundred of these brown mushrooms.
Among the finds today were Amanita Muscaria, park host was picking them to prevent harvesting them but i found a couple still.
I was having a bitch of a time uploading on this new phone so the order stinks.

Ok, i uploaded as is because I am having a shit time getting this done. Anyways, the last pic was the one that really blew me away, the stems were a bit yellowish. And in daylight looked quite dark blue. When i got home theyd turned black almost. Stem and all.
The brown ones I had in my only plastic bag, hence their better look. Any ideas would be awesome, setting up spore prints now.

The first ones... ?
The ones that turned black are Hygrocybe conica Witch caps, I found them as a kid thought I scored too. The bruising is similar.
The big brown one is prolly lactarius or similar, also not active bruiser
The last one it's prolly Psathyrella a non active look alike of pan cints.
Keep it up thigh your getting the right idea. Bit maybe pick less till you know what they are.

Have a nice day! psilocybe cyanescens time lapse

They were next to harvested/destroyed others. I got these from the only place I've ever seen them in the past.
The deformity may be from the camps host cutting them and/or kicking at them. Don't know but I'm certain they are Muscaria. I've eaten a small cut of a stem. Not a bad taste really. Semi-sweet slightly nutty taste.

they're not meant to be consumed raw. i presume you know they're not like the rest of the 'active' mushrooms.

Yes, I am well aware of this. I ate a small 1" x 3/4" piece of stem. Intentionally stayed away from the caps for now.
Seems like there are some mixed claims about eating them raw, but the info against it is pretty sound. I can honestly say it didn't do much, if anything at all. Plus, I'll be asleep at peak anyways.

There wasn't much of a "trip" at all. Just helped me sleep. The medicinal prospects lf Muscaria seem to be quite promising. At least short term, considering toxicity issues.

that just helps them spread if they're mature when kicked, and yeah, keeps you from harvesting them, too.
