Just finished the 3rd flush on one of my 2 GT monotubs. The other monotub was done after 2nd flush (or at least I thought so).

Final yield
Monotub #1 MS to WBS to damon tek with gypsum: Dry 5.4 oz
Monotub # 2 Same: Dry 7.8 oz

I have no idea how that compares, but damn! I'm not complaining.

Thank you to everyone that helped me along the way. Here's to more successful grows to come.

I have 2 Malabar MS monotubs finishing their first flush. I didn't deviate at all from the first Tek, I just attempted to improve on it. The tubs are doing great.

I just spawned my first MS Argentina transferred to agar then to oats 2 days ago. 5 quart jars to Damon's Tek again, only I didn't lay a top layer when spawning as I'd like to use the next few tubs to learn how to case.

I spawned MS B+ oats to same Tek as above at same time as the agar spawning. Unfortunately, I didn't have a good feeling about quite a few of my MS jars and discarded all by 4 quarts. Better safe than sorry.

Last Tuesday I performed my first clones of the GT first flush. I made first transfers on Sunday and some clones of my Malabar fruit.

I prepared and poured another 30 plates of MEA this evening to prepare for next clone transfers and to get ready to work with some new syringes I picked up last week. I think my next adventure will be with Pan cambodginiensis. At least some agar work to start.

I bet you weren't expecting that. Lol.

 Yea i wasn't expecting you to jump right into pan cambos already but go for it!  That's awesome

As far as growing 3 varieties of similar cubes (malabar, b+, GT)... I don't really see the point... they are all so similar.  You may find it more interesting to go after different cubes like PE, APE, or AA+.  It takes a lot of work to focus on multiple varieties (especially when cloning). I try to choose my varieties as carefully as possible. My list is: GT, APE, PE, Pan Cyan Hawaii, and sometimes AA+ if I'm bored.  But it's your hobby and time so do as you please. ( Just my 2 cents  )

Next time you have a jar that seems clean but you don't feel 100% confident about, you could try adding a casing layer to your jars and fruit them as is.  I just tried this a few days ago.  I don't know if it'll work or not yet.  But it's fun to play around.

good luck! keep it up!

I did 3 similar cubes just to get some experience under my belt with the process. I knew nothing about them prior to August, so when I chose my first cubes, I picked what other new cultivators had picked in the past. I have a feeling I'll try a little of everything then settle on a few favorites.

I did get a PE uncut syringe this last week, but the other strains came from a grab bag and all seem to be pretty standard. Where I got my syringes didn't have any of the other varieties in stock.

I thought about letting the jars do their thing, but figured I had so much going at once that it was a little overwhelming to take on. However, I love the top layer idea! Please let me know how your jars turn out. Thanks for the advice!
