Can i get a second opinion on this? Bacterial grain?

This jar was inoculated with a clean agar wedge around 9-28, it doesn't smell, and there is no pooling liquid or slime.
If someone could give me an opinion on what they think it is that would be great! Metabolites, bacteria, etc?
If anything i will case the jar and fruit directly, outside.

To me it looks like pieces of grain cut in half pushed up to the edge of the glass, and others look like possible antibacterial metabolites going to work. Don't trash it. Ride it out at least.

Just mycelium doing its thang. What's the temperature? Could also be FAE stress.

Couldn't be an air exchange problem considering it's not put into fruiting. The only exchange going on is gas exchange. I say ride out and fruit that mother fucker.

It looks sealed. Cakes still need gas/fae exchange. It's 100% anyway so cracking the lid a tad wouldn't harm it.

Cakes need GE not FAE. There is a difference my friend.

I believe you. Even so, there's about 1618294729928473928 fuckin grains in there, some of them are just bound to be cut in half or cracked from handling. It happens. No biggie. I can literally take some pics of bags I have going right now with a couple of cracked grains. But straight up, I think you're fine man. You're doing good, rock out.

In your defense man my stuff looks weird because I'm using pint sized jars and fill then to the brim. Most people do quarts and leave space for shaking and G2G

I've gotten it enough, but it was microscopic and tended not to form on the mycelium itself.
It also smelled bad :V
The tell-tale sign was usually uncolonized spots where it was overrun by the little fuckers.
I've seen myc that looks like those pics and there was no bacteria at the time.
Then again, I'm going off pictures so I could definitely be missing something.
Not to mention, if it's just substrate in there it's lacking that vermiculite barrier...
(not like i really trusted that method in the first place)

I assumed it was bacterial because my jars won't typically produce colored metabolites. I spawn before they start to mature and still look super white, and the other jar i did at the same time with the same agar plate and grains had no spots at all.
All these yellowish-brown spots were near the bottom where there's a little more moisture and less GE which also seems like the workings of a bacterial problem.
It wasn't bad enough to smell when i spawned so it should definitely work fine, maybe most people assume their spawn is bacteria free because they don't have issues fruiting it or smell it.

Regardless if you usually see it, I'm sure you know it can happen >.>
Bacteria won't grow off the mycelium itself. (disregarding blotch)
Maybe it could be a sign of neutralized bacteria, I just don't see anything that would indicate that.
I was just curious why people think some of this stuff is bacteria or whatever.

It's grain in his jar not brf, why would he have a vermiculite barrier with grains?
Just confused by what you meant, not picking your words apart for the sake of it.

'sall good
vermiculite is inorganic so it won't decompose and is good for keeping in moisture
i know it is not always done but it seems like it could be beneficial in this respect
i guess this is in hindsight though, if the intention was g2g
