Stalled Mini Mono Colonization

Hey guys, I spawned 6 BRF MS Treasure Coast cakes to a 5 gal/19 L Mini Monotub on October 3rd. I checked it on the 10th and it was moving pretty slow. Before I spawned it, I had been inspecting the jars almost every day for contams and growth progress and everything seemed to be fine and dandy. I checked on it again on the 18th and there appeared to be some kind of cobweb or pin mold growing in the area where I lifted the wax paper to check it previously. I sprayed that with H2O2 and it melted immediately.
Pasteurization method: Oven pasteurized hydrated hpoo, coffee, gypsum at 170* for ~9 hours (wanted to do 4-6 but oven did not turn off when timer stopped ) --guessing I may have accidentally sterilized the sub from the long exposure time @ that temp(I see no other cause of this problem besides a stealthy bad spawn). Next time I'll probably do 5 hours at 140-150* in the oven
These photos are from today

So it's been 3 weeks now since spawn and it's looking like that ^^..... I would rather not toss this sub if it can come to fruit because I have plenty of real estate for other projects. I've noticed that this MS TC variety grows extremely slow. You guys think I should let it do it's thing, spray more H2O2, or toss it? Thanks in advance

I would have tossed it the moment I found a contam inside the jar.

In that case I say let it chill.

No bueno bro. Toss it, but if you don't make sure to keep It far away from other projects.... far far away.

You got the temps and the times all messed up dude. Proper pasteurization is between 140-165f for one hour. That's it. Done.
I've always used Frank's Easy Pasteurization tek to a T and it hasn't failed me yet! Give it a quick read http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/17246844/fpart/all/vc/1

I wanted the 4-6 hour time to allow the sub to get up to the equilibrium core temperature, and with the dry heat from the oven (lower heat transfer) it would have taken much longer for the core temp to hit the desired point. I was feeling lazy this time which is why I did the oven pasteurization in the first place. Also with less water, less nutrients will leach out from the substrate to be dumped out when brought to field capacity. This was just my reasoning and I'll probably do the classic stockpot method a lot of you guys use with manure.
I'm assuming it is possible to sterilize a substrate with the 170* temp IF given enough time, which I think 10 hours may have sufficed unfortunately. I've used 170* pasteurization temps with success in the past, but not with a core temp of 170* lasting longer than 1.5 hours. I'm going to use much lower past. temps in the future though.
And thanks for the link Soulful. I've come across it before but I'll be favoriting it at this point

That sub looks bone dry in your pictures. I think longer times in the oven will give you the same results. It needs to be at field capacity when you spawn so with the oven pasteurization you gotta add over field capacity to make up for what will evaporate. I bet if you dunk it and put it outside itll flush. Next round id skip the coffee cause it should be sterilized and used with grain, and just add more water to the poo and gypsum.

The coffee sterilization claim is highly debatable and no one has come to a good conclusion on it from what I read. And the sub is actually at field capacity. I did actually add extra water in the pot for the oven. I had to squeeze individual handfuls of sub to get it right and there was a solid amount of water in the bottom of the pot after squeezing the sub. The photos might be misleading. I probably wouldn't be able to get cobweb growing on a dry sub since it requires a pretty moist environment.
It is really interesting how the sub has already shrunk off the walls though! If I wasn't looking at the tub in person, I'd think it was dry too. There's a decent amount of water condensation on the surface and wax paper.
