Damn haha I was totally convinced that was like flush 7 or 8 at least, what's up with the coloration of the sub? It honestly looks...aged? Not trying to be insulting or anything I just haven't seen that look before.

If a sub fruits hard enough in the first few flushes there is often so little nutrition and moisture left that it won't contam at all. I have had spent subs sitting for weeks neither contaming or having enough left to push out another fruit. Ideally you would get to this point no later than the third flush.

it was just a really spent substrate I think it was like 3rd or 4th flush. I generally like it when they push everything out super quick, like the first 2 flushes. That and outdoor spent sub grows are fun. Tbh I prefer outdoors more. Hopefully global warming will make this place better for it hahaha

Is there a way to ensure that your sub flushes out quickly? Or is it the standard, genetics x moisture content x dialing in conditions
I had a tub that pushed out fruits really slowly and sporadically, never really having much in the way of a "flush" so to speak at all, would having the sub be too wet cause this? I believe that was my problem, but I feel like even if it's too wet the mushrooms should still be able to use that water content, maybe that's why it flushed slower, needed to take more time to absorb it?

The best way to get the most in the early flushes is to use clone or isolate genetics, ensure all major pining triggers are being met, and conditions are ideal during fruiting. The clone genetics or isolate should be a heavy fruiter that puts out a decent pinset.
It's often said that the measure of a good flush is a dry oz per quart of spawn used. I consider that to be a starting point. Double that can be seen with good genetics and good fruiting conditions.

If you haven't harvested them yet, it might be too late by now. But yes, harvest them.

I've definitely seen that expression a few times. It's weird, but cool. Feels cool too.
Op, nice tubs buddy.

Why would it be too late?
