    #22426312 - 10/24/15 09:10 AM (8 years, 3 months ago)

found in edge of pasture on rich soil mixed with cow manure, there is crataegus and prunus spinosa near, growing in colonies. cap is 5-7cm in diameter, smell reminds me of e. clypeatum that i used to pick long time ago.

I'm not familiar with that species, so I looked it up and found.

Based on that I would think you have a different species in the genus Clitocybe.  What color are the spores?

with same help i concluded this is definitely e. sepium. other possibility was lepista sordida that is usually more blue but can also be so pale, but there is certain difference in shape of gills. i already made great dinner, this is one of most tasty mushrooms i ever tried

....What color are the spores?  Eating unidentified mushrooms that could be Clitocybe is not a smart idea...

I think both examples look different to the pictures you posted. The other pictures look more robust where the ones in your picture look more flexible, amongst other things. That's not to say they are different, you said you are sure. Just that if i was in that situation I'd consider them something different going by those pictures alone.

i took photos of only one young mushroom, older ones look characteristically for the species. i couldnt make spores but older ones have pinkish gills. what makes me sure the most is the distinctive smell, i used to pick e. clypeatum a lot in my childhood and i know that smell and taste for sure. dont worry for me!
