Gold in the fall and winter season of 2015-2016. If we look at the multiyear trend of Gold vs the Dollar its clear that the Dollar is gaining on Gold:

For the turn of the year, do you see gold dropping, holding its own or gaining?
On one hand, theres a number of factors pressing down on gold, like the inevitable COMEX downturn the NY markets give to gold, on the other hand, Europe and America are in troubled waters and the hypers seem to be jusdt about out of good news to spin.
In the coming months, where do you think it will go?
In the past years theres been a downtrend.

There are something like 200 ounces in "claims" against every ounce of physical gold. Thus, by definition a leverage of 200:1. This combined with the price manipulation of gold by the few "price setters" along with who knows how many gold plated tungsten bars sitting in good delivery vaults worldwide, and it's tough to really guess at what gold is "worth".
Having said all that, on a technical level combined with fundamental global weakness combined with massive QE yet to be realized as inflation, and I'd say for the next year we'll stay in the 1090-1180 price range...

I'm thinking it will either meander or get lower unless something big happens.
I STALled it instead of called it because I didnt want to influence the vote.

Why would it plummet? I wish it would cause I'd buy with both hands, but gold only really plummets right after a bubble pops. Its a commodity with inherent value, it costs a lot to produce.

How much would gold be worth if the governments/central banksters decided that the common man wasn't worthy of holding it as in 1933. Then I think it was decided to be worth $35 an ounce after being confiscated to help with our "national emergency".

The same as with illegalizing drugs, the prices go up.
They won't do that, we're not on a gold standard anymore so confiscating gold would be like confiscating cars.

I been looking at some charts..
Gold/Dollar Gold/Euro Gold/Silver Silver/Dollar Silver/Euro Gold/Oil Silver/Oil
I believe gold will be going down in the coming time, rather than silver coming up, to even out the gold silver ratio.
At this time it is shortterm advantageous to convert gold into silver. It is probably better now to buy silver if one is inclined to buy, but I don't particularly recommend buying at this point from dollars or euros. If you are considering to sell and are in a good positive balance, its your own risk but selling gold would be more advantageous than selling silver.

Commodity bear markets are usually at least 13 years long, and we are only 5 years into this one.
