Habitat:

I found this big guy directly under the pine tree on the left of the picture. It was almost at its foot with two more buttons right next door. The location is in NW, FL. There's a river about 5 feet away and the surrounding area gets well irrigated at high tide, though this spot itself doesn't get submerged.
Gills:
Since it hasn't completely opened yet I didnt get a great look at it so it cut it up. They're white, gilly, and not super packed in (still kind of loose, Easy to manipulate a single gill). from the cross cut it looks like they're attached but it could change I guess.

Stem:
The stem is white in color through out with a hollow core and fibrous when cut. I regret but I didnt take a picture of cut stem. The whole thing came in at about ~7.0 inches in length (cap included). It it didn't take on any definitive colors. Should be able to see the difference as the pick in my hand is seconds after being picked.
Cap:
I would have to put the cap length at 4 inches total, but again, not fully open. Obvious white warts that, once picked, darkend the same amount as the stem. the color is fantastic and the only reason I noticed it!

Spore print color:
No print, maybe white?
Bruising:
There wasn't any clear bruising after the ride home and the stem just turned a slightly darker shade after being cut. The cap stayed just as it looks even afer refrigeraiton for a couple hours!

Other information:
After being harvested it barely had a mushroom scent around the gills. After bing cut the smell stayed about the same same strength. Even after the fridge rest!
I ended up tossing it but I just wanted to see what it might be! Since there were two more barely nubs, I figured if it was any good for cooking I'd try to make it back before any one else pokes around there!
What do you guys think!
