Ever pull a fire alarm?
    #22424185 - 10/23/15 06:30 PM (8 years, 3 months ago)

I haven't. I've been very tempted to my whole life though. Big red lever, puts the whole building in a frenzy. Some say there is a magical chemical that sprays on you then the cops shine blacklights to figure out whodunnit.

Have any of you done this? Was there a legit reason or did you do it for the rush? If the second did you get caugh? Give me all the details.

No, I don't listen to the sex pistols and my mullet isn't long enough to warrant such activities.

I used to live in a dorm years ago that was basically formatted like a hotel. Like 9 stories tall and 1000+ people. Anyways people, me included, always took the fire escape to get outside and/or smoke. There was usually a stick propping it open. It had the alarm will sound sign but it was always propped open and I never heard it go off, so when I got to the bottom of it only to find it was shut I didn't think twice about opening it.

Anyways the alarm went off and they evacuated 1k+ students from the building

I pulled the fire alarm in preschool because my older brother tricked me. Some firemen came and gave us a big lecture, but because we were so young, there was no real repercussion. Good times.

My buddy got suspended from the last day of school in 9th grade for pulling one and it did spray his hand with a bluish ink cuz I was right next to him and that's how he got caught.

yes. I needed the building to be empty

hydrochloric acid on concrete isnt good for your lungs... it's not good for your
skin either. 55 gallon drum was ruptured and no one was going to stop the leak

Once in grade school we were roller skating, and i went flying right into the alarm. You had to puch back on a bar then pull the switch down to set it off. I pushed the bar back but didn't pull down. It was such a rush i can only imagine how good it would feel to have pulled down and set it off.

My dream alarm would be one of the old fashion ones with the glass you have to break with a metal hammer.

As a psychotic teen I had a staring contest with an emergency brake of a train. It won.

Seriously you cant inconvenience so many people for your lulz, thats just selfish. I recognized that even back then in the state I was in.

There are only few very specific circumstances where a fire alarm is appropriate, even festive.

Only troupes of furries have that licence.

The school I was at took the fine and divided it among all the students. Who were rich and didn't care. Eventually the fire chief comes in and tells you a fake story about a rookie fireman who dies racing to a false alarm. Everyone cries and the false alarms stop, hopefully. I am sure it's fake as I learned they do this all over North America, guilt trip the dorm into not pulling alarms.

no. i went to HS in 2006 and they already had cameras everywhere by then. i'm not sure what the cameras were like in middleschool but people still knew not to pull a fire alarm

there are no unsupervised fire alarms in schools and like 95% buildings anymore. pulling one is basically a guaranteed fine

During finals week i was getting piss drunk with some friends at a college dorm, my drunk friend decides to pull the fire alarm at 11pm-Midnight and so like 8-10 stories of people have to make their way outside and stand around for 20 minutes, it was hard not to laugh being so drunk, but it was such a dick move:lol:
