 Friend's first time - Salvia trip report

So I did a salvia extraction. Much easier than I thought.
I decided it'd be a good idea to introduce my friend to my extract. I made it *very* powerful. I explained to him the nuances of tripping (altho salvia is a short one) because he's never tripped on anything before. He was really nervous and anxious and I talked him to a calm state. I let him read the salvia FAQ (http://www.sagewisdom.org/faq.html) and he felt a lot more comfortable about it.
He took a grav.
He started looking around the room scared and I asked him what was wrong - even tho I knew. He didn't answer, he just looked at me and nodded. Like he knew that I knew what was wrong. I told him to chill and everything would be fine. With some effort, he asked, "Anything I experience now is normal and supposed to happen, right?"
"Right."
"You're not gonna make fun of anything I say?"
"No."
"Good, well there's two of me right now.. we're on a rollercoaster.. *laughing for a long time* damn there's two of you too! *my last name*, why are there four of us?! Is my stomach supposed to feel weird?"
"Sure, why?"
"I have one and a half stomachs."
I flipped on my liquid light projector, took a grav myself, and loaded him another. We sat there staring at the colorful blobs and made a story about them laughing uncontrollably. The yellow was getting pissed off at the blue so to punish him, Yellow made him green. Red got pissed off and teamed up with yellow to beat the piss out of blue, and taught Blue a lesson by turning him purple and green. Yellow came back as a huge blob and kicked both their asses.
Johnny wanted another grav. I pulled it, he put his mouth on the end of it and I shut off the lights. I put on Aphex Twin - Stone in Focus which is a very mellow, relaxing, healing type of song. He lay on my bed and started going nuts.
He wasnt making any sense, talking in tongues, punching the bed, kicking his feet. I let him be and stayed quiet.
He started screaming and letting out a lot of anger. I heard him sniffle, and I think he was crying a little. The song is about ten minutes long, and when it was over, I turned on a black light.
He said it was a very intense, almost religious experience. He tells me he felt healed and he finally got rid of a lot of pent up anger and hostility.
I'm happy to have helped a friend open a new part of his mind.

Thats a great report, im glad your friend had an good salvia experience. This report gave me a nice push towards taking that salvia plunge.

If you're that good at extractions why don't you make a tincture then? That's the Salvia goodness dissolved in alcohol. Don't put pure alcohol in your mouth though. It will burn.
The tincture should be held in your mouth for 15 minutes. After that you get a half hour peak or so. The comeup is also much slower.
You should brush your teeth and use mouthwash before you dose.
Do a search for tinctures, there are a lot of easy ways to make them.

I think that's one of the benifits of salvia. A religous experince & healing in 10 minutes. Something that intense for hours can be hard to swallow. But there are times when I wish it would last longer.

thats what i'm liking about salvia, it doesn't last long.. if i was in that state for 2 hours or more i don't think i would even want to do it again.. hell if you want it to last longer you can always smoke some more after you comedown...

My favorite part of salvia is the comedown, when I become ridiculously relieved and deliriously happy that the world around me stays together. Both breakthroughs, i was convinced that solid matter and stasis were just a myth of the past, that I had been "tripping" before and that I was now back to "normal." Both times I resisted, got tossed around a bit, and then slowly regained awareness.
