Habitat: deciduous wet area, growing up a tree, some are very high up
Gills: Color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc. tan yellow, not attached Stem: Length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc. 1/2"-2", 1/4", tan young to real dark, smooth, thin Cap: Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc. 1/2"-2", orange brown, smooth, Spore print color: white
Bruising: none

habitat- wet area in deciduous woods, on old log about 4' up
Gills- tan, attached
Stem- white tan,orange veil, 1"-2", hollow stringy
cap- tan yellow,smooth, a little wrinkled dry, 1/2"-2"
spore print- not printing well its dry but i think its white

Habitat- in mulch of Japanese Knotwood, grows out of the mulch,
Gills- white tan, attached
Stem- tan, smooth, 2", stringy, hollow
Cap- whiter when dry, darker spot in middle when young, 1" or so,smooth
Print- white tan

Yeah disregard the bottom photo for #3. Its from an earlier picture.
So #2 is definitely not a gallerina? I possibly thought it should be bigger for the gymnopolus?

2. Is definitely not a Gallerina. It's Gymnopilus and can be collected for further study and photographs. The size looks consistent, but you're the one with the ruler.

That depends - those are probably psychedelic. You should be able to clearly see green-blue hues on small areas of the stipes if you examine them closely. Do you?

The measurements were as little as 1/4" now that i realize i put 1-2" and looking at this pictures of the deadly galerina. plus i ate some?

this is a great article, thanks for the link! it really outlines the steps you would go through and the methods bit they call boring is full of nice little technique descriptions too.
