questions about humidity

I'm having problems with humidity. I have my mono tub inside a big jacuzzi tub that I made a little clean room in have plastic on walls and ceiling. So my problem is that the other day I put into fruiting but hadn't had a chance to get smaller fan than one I have because how little space I have. In the mean time I have been using a bigger tower fan and turning it off and on every so often for FAE but I accidentally left it on all night last night and now there is hardly any moisture on walls of tub and not sure what to do to bring humidity back up.

How dry does the substrate look? If it doesn't look extremely dry, a light misting with a spray bottle on the sides of the monotub might do the trick.

Seriously. What?!
Pull out the spray bottle and get to misting. Keep the jacuzzi for those sexy nights.. Preferably not with your monotubs

A jacuzzi tub is one of those big ass bathtubs that has the water jets in it. I have one we don't use in my master bath so I made a room out of it with bout a six foot high ceiling and walls out of 6 mill plastic sheeting. Put a shower curtain in front of that and you would never no what's behind it. Anyhow the substrate still looks pretty moist just hardly none on walls. Should I spray walls down and if so do I use regular tap water? Or do I need to even worry bout it right away if all that means is temperature difference?

lol not at the moment I don't can here in a few. Until then no I didn't put substrate in tub like that. That would be bad ass tho. I have my mono tub inside the bathtub. I live in mobile home and didn't have anywhere else to do it so I made do with using the bath tub. I'll have pics in a few I don't no how to upload them lol and my ol lady ain't home yet.

No...his tub is sitting in his jacuzzi... it's fine to have a bigger type fan in the room just make sure it isn't pointing directly at the tub...and tighten up your top poly for a day to get everything back on track...if your sub looks Hella dry give it a good misting.

if u had the where with all to fuck with the jets and all that shit, u could probably do a sick grow in a jacuzzi as one large bulk sub. hook some solenoid misters up to the water supply. put that jawn on cruise control

I have fan pointing in opposite direction. My problem with the bigger fan is that I never got around to building shelves in there so I put my fruiting tub on top of another empty tub I had to keep everything off the ground and I lost a lot of room doing that.So my fan is prolly only a foot or so away from fruiting chamber.

Great thing about Mono's is they will perform great! Even in your jacuzzishower!
Seriously though, I don't use fans, my climates rh is generally ~10%, and I tell people to go for more fae over humidity. Just mist when needed. Sometimes my walls will have no condensation at all.
What truly matters is the glistening surface of the mycelium (watch for those crystal glistles!) Absolutely no pooling water too.
Once you start misting a mono, it seems you gotta mist once a day at least. Just to let you know

Now it does with the shower curtain. Only put that up so it didn't look so suspect. which it still does I guess considering there is walk in shower on other side of the room.

Right on ya my substrate is definelty glistening. This is my first grow so I'm still learning. Was only worried bout the walls because everything I've read bout mono tubs says the walls should be wet except around the poly. So is you don't worry bout fans do you fan it all?

heat of the substrate creates drafts on its own, you dont need a fan and you certainly dont need to fan. at nights I have tons of condensation because my room is colder so the temp differences is greater.
surface glistening is what matters, dont mind the walls they can be good to check for dry rings but not much more.
btw it still looks sketchy, it looks like how I hid my alcohol when I was a kid, except your curtains dont bulge as much as mine did. just put the tub in a normal room.

I dont hand fan at all, nor do I have fans running. I have a pretty open room. Top holes are almost falling out. Lots of the time I don't even have the top holes stuffed.
I like to aim for more fae, and mist when needed. That's my grow style at least.

That makes me Leary having it in normal In my head it seems like it would be easier to get contaminants rather than in its own little room. Plus I got to kids one of them just under 2 with it in there even if he goes in bathroom with me or her he ain't paying attention or trying to mess with it like he would if just out somewhere where he could see it.

those contam spores have nothing to colonize because your tub is already 100% colonized by cubensis mycelium

yeah it takes a while before you understand why we do things and not just how to do it. when you figure it out the world is at your feet tho, it all just makes sense!
sterilized media stays enclosed in filtered containers until 100% colonization. then we can spawn them in open air, because there's nothing on 100% colonized grains nor pasteurized substrates for the contam spores to eat.
if you gonna g2g you can't open @ 100% tho, because contam spores will land in the jar and then be transferred to your newly sterilized UNcolonized reciving jars.
outside everything grows side by side in perfect harmony (except for that god damn human species fuckin things up) with no contam risk.
