Might have waited a little longer than I should have to pick them. Smells good and like mycelium tho

So this strain is said to be PE, isn't PE not supposed to drop spores?

That's correct from my understanding. Those look hella ready to pick though.

I'm pretty sure it isn't that PE never drops spore but it's rare to drop spores. Might be worth it to print a few of those

They look both dry and fuzzy, which is confusing the fuck out of me.

Except there are no spores.

Op let them sit too long. They got mushy af. Also have some bacterial blotches on the caps. Caps are also furled up, and lastly, they're fuckin fuzzzzzzy.

@OP when right under the cap gets really wrinkly/lookin like a ball sack, that's when they're ready to pick.. You waited like 2+ days too long

Let me see if I can dig up photos of waiting too long :lolsy:..

Ehh fuck it. I lost those photos.. :nonono:

Should pick and dry them before they decay. Try a small dose and if you're feeling cool the next day, they're probably okay.

Are they actually mushy and slimy?

PE does drop spores.

Verrrry rarely will pe drop spores. They will develop spores tho. People will pay a lot if you have a pe variety that can be printed. They almost always have to be swabbed to get spores.

Also OP I recommend drying them before consumption. Nothing worse than mushy fuzzy fresh fruits.. At least when dried they're pretty much the same shit. Yes they're still edible. I've had many forgotten trays and tubs with fruits much worse looking tbh, and I still tripped just fine.

How about this, how long did you neglect them and how much did they change between checking them?

Pick them and dry them asap. Over mature along with blotch. Do not clone. Make sure to wash your hands before touching other tubs

Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.

I just can't imagine with all the work that goes into these tubs, forgetting about one. Are these 2 days overdue or like a week? Im curious since PE are slower to mature.

It may make you go wtf? But there's a reason why me and Tahoe know what fruits left too long look like .. I'm a lazy fuck. What can I say. Sometimes harvest time just gets ahead of me, or I'm away from home for a couple days too long

I much prefer the growing aspect over harvesting . After all these years, mycelium just grew on me.. Gross pun intended :P

 Well, I'm not there yet I guess. Definitely not lazy, but I just might not have a life? I'd be nervous to consume any one of those. Just tripping on a potentially contaminated shroom might lead to a bad trip. Lol.

Damn. What a waste.
