Interview with a Real Life Superhuman - Wim Hof, The Ice Man

Wim Hof first caught the attention of scientists when he proved he was able to use meditation to stay submerged in ice for 1 hour and 53 minutes without his core body temperature changing. Since then, he’s climbed Mount Everest in his shorts, resisted altitude sickness, completed a marathon in the Namib Desert with no water and proven under a laboratory setting that he’s able to influence his autonomic nervous system and immune system at will.
Almost everything Wim has done was previously thought to be impossible - but he’s not a freak of nature.
To demonstrate that any human can learn his methods, Wim offered to teach Matt Shea and Daisy-May Hudson to climb a freezing cold mountain in their shorts without getting cold. But when Matt and Daisy signed up for the training, they had no idea that the so-called Iceman was planning to lead them on a psychedelic journey across Europe that circled the chasm between science, spirituality and mystery.
Inside the Superhuman World of the Iceman
Interview with a Real Life Superhuman - Wim Hof, The Ice Man
This man is a legitimate super human, super hero, a mystic with real powers, a mystic and prophet of the Cold.

Wow after watching these documentaries I am convinced. Where I live its brutal siberian cold and dark for most of the year. Winter is just about to begin. I am going to adopt the WIl Hof Iceman training method and begin exposing myself to -30 celcsius weather in my crocks and underwear for increasingly long periods of time, as well as having cold showers and ice baths and doing this breathing and outdoor exposure stuff.
I will become a superman. Or at least heal myself.

STOP.
If you think you can fly, fly up from the ground and not off a building.
And get someone with you in case you are struck down by hyperthermia or cold induced arrhythmia.

Well I will just be stepping outside my front door , handling it for a minute or two as long as I can, then going inside to warm up.
I live somewhere where an unprotected person will freeze to death in minutes.
People pay good money to rent time in "cryo chambers" that simulate the whether outside my front door and apparently they do wonders.
The Iceman is my new hero and the closest thing I know of to a Living Jesus.

If you expose yourself to any conditions for long enough, the body adapts
I don't understand why you'd want to...seems purely for ego that you want these abilities.
Enjoy the comforts of the western world:

We live in the same neck of woods i reckon and its only Like -3c out

Yeah I'm looking forward to watching it later. Love this kind of stuff
I remember being so fascinated with the short documentary about a healer from China who used chi that felt like electricity. He demonstrated lighting a ball of paper on fire. Of course, naysayers dismiss him as a magician, but I feel it was legit

If your heart is up for the task alternating hot and cold is great for circulation.
