Identification help (potentional liberty caps)
    #22417105 - 10/22/15 07:53 AM (8 years, 3 months ago)

Hello,

I am new to this thread and have recently started hunting in the south west of England.

I have found these today and am struggling to identify corrently myself.

The smaller ones go from brown to cream and the larger ones are predominantly brown, I am currently making a spore print also in order to help identify. The does seem to be a nipple on the top of a few of the mushrooms also.

Many thanks in advance.

Mycena, not active. You want to look for only ones with purple/dark gills.

Are they a poisonous variety? Out of interest.
