edible that grows like cubes?

so guys what is the best edible speacies that can grow on wbs spawned to bulk substrates like coir/verm/gypsum and cased....just like cubes and gives good yields?

i think oyster mushrooms fit that description.

King Oysters.

Other kinds of Oysters need lots of FAE to develop properly.  They also will get spores all over and do better on straw or paper than coir in my experience.
