Found in my front yard, fairly certain its a pan at least... Cinct? Foe?

Ya second look, the stems dont look very much like the cincts i've seen im leaning towards foe, thanks for the reply

They can look 100% identical ( foes and cincts ) really usually depends what they grow from. Like when they grow from grass especially older grasses, they're smaller, less colorful, and just don't have that awesome look, but they can still have dark gills/spores and even blue bases.

All of the Cinctulus I've found have looked almost 100% identical to pan. foes.

The Cincts that grow from fresh sodded lawns in heavily wet and slightly colder areas tend to be a bit beefier, whereas the ones that grow from horse dung tend to be the beefiest of them all.

Always be sure to spore print if you're hunting Pan Cinct/Pan Foe.

I wish cincts like this were easier to find. These are the kind of beauties you find in pastures:





Anyway, it was already said but you have to check the spore print. A quick look at the gills can save you a bunch of time though. (When dealing with matures)

I have only found beefy subbs in grass clippings, and horse pastures.  All the ones I found in bermuda/fescue grass tended to be taller and leaner, but just as active.
