Thanks guys! Glad you are enjoying it so far. Does anyone have any suggestions for production? All I have is the basic editing capabilities of garage band... so I'm quite limited in that respect.

You might get further along with a Logic. It's apple's music software for producing. Very popular and pretty cheap for it offers. I have never liked Logic myself and I use a program named Ableton "Live". It just feels very natural for arranging ideas and using hardware synths / recording instruments. For recording, editing, mixing, mastering you cannot go wrong with Pro Tools.
You're keyboard skills are very good from listening to these tracks. I might be able to give you more practical advice if you can share what you want to do with your music. Either way keep it up

Thanks for the suggestions. Pro tools looks amazing!
As for my music, there is so much I want to say and share but I just don't know how to figure out what software I'd need to capture my thoughts (and make them sound professional) adequately. for example, I love microtonal harmony but what software would allow me to explore my microtonal compositions? There are microtonal keyboards but they are very pricey... so how do I adapt to that situation?.
Thanks

Hmm. I think of a microtones being intervals smaller than a semitone. I'm not familiar with how to tune traditional instruments in such a way. Are you familiar with synthesis?

I don't think so... in what context?
Just like to add one more piece. My homage to Beethoven, in a "classical" style.

I mean synthesizers. Analogue or digital. From listening it here it sounds like you're classically trained or inspired by that type of music. But synthesis is very powerful tool within music and creating interesting pitches in a musical context.

Great Idea! would something like this work?
Mininova

p.s, that last link was broken. Here is the proper link if anyone is interested. Inspired by Beethoven.

Yes the mininova could be a nice choice. For the price it looks like a good starting synth to work with. I have no experience with this keyboard but it looks like it has all of the basic features of a subtractive synthesizer. Find out if it can work with garageband. I still recommend looking at Logic if you are a Mac user.
Btw I am in awe of your keyboard skills! How long have you been playing?
