When someone gets sick, praying for them is literally the least you can do.

I think praying is for people who want to give up responsibility over their own life and outcomes to someone else cause they're too weak willed to deal with the randomness of the world and their own life.

Praying is me talking and believing my God is listening. "And the seed sprouts and grows. How, He himself does not know how."

When people pray for money, sex, or for someone's death, what does "god" say to himself?

That it's useless. For me anyway, don't have a problem with it. Gives a lot of people peace of mind.

Ehh... Majority of people who pray still take responsibility for their own life and others, they just choose to pray when they feel weak or feel something is out of their control. Just because someone prays it doesn't mean they are weak. I don't completely disagree with you, there definitely are people that do feel like prayers will solve all their problems

It's easy to spot someone that attends AA frequently because eventually they all sound the same.
My cousin can't finish a status on FB without saying "I turn my will over", "turned my will over to God", "it's tough but everyday I do His will"...
I'm guessing this is another one of the 100s of cliche sayings that AA people repeat over and over at the cult meetings?
