Habitat:
In a field in which cattle have grazed in.

Gills:
Lighter yellowish-golden colour.

Stem:
4-7cm length. Yellowish-golden colour.

Cap:
0.5-0.75cm diameter. Yellowish-golden colour.

Spore print colour:
Not observed.

Bruising:
Not observed.

Location:
Clare, Ireland.

Other information:
Fairly delicate mushroom. Pretty common to see in fields around here.

For me the stem looks wrong for Mycena. I could be wrong, though.

If the OP kept a specimen maybe he can take a spore print.

I found a few more today and discovered the spore print colour - rust/orange.

Found these today. In a open field with patches of trees everywhere and some on the creekside.

What are they?

You have two different species in your latest images. Compare the larger species to Armillaria solidipes.


The smaller ones appear to be a Galerina species, close to Galerina marginata.

Thanks that helped I was able to figure out the mushroom I been seeing all over the place, an that would be the arm soldipes you just mentioned. Everywhere I go always haves alot of them hanging out.

An the small ones in my last post are extremely poisonous an will kill you. Figure I share that to any curious rookie like me
