Science has never been his strong suit. In fact, I would say he is less hostile to science now than he was years ago as odd as that sounds...

So much for global warming not having any real effects. The coast of South Carolina and Georgia have been inundated by high tides
http://www.weather.com/storms/severe/news/charleston-south-carolina-georgia-coastal-flooding
Sea levels have been rising at an alarming rate along the east coast -- about 12" inches in the past century but 4" of those inches have occurred in the last five years.

Sweet. Perhaps one day I'll have a beach-front home!
Only a few hundred feet to go.
Look at the bright-side. Many of the low lying cities are shit-holes.

October was the hottest October on record. This year is so much warmer than previous years, it is quite shocking.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/capital-weather-gang/wp/2015/11/18/2015-will-be-the-warmest-year-on-record-by-an-enormous-margin/
Quote:
Barring the unforeseeable, the latest monthly climate report from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is a clincher. There can no longer be any meaningful doubt that 2015 will be the Earth’s warmest year on record, at an entirely different level from the previous warmest years.
This year’s average temperature through October is running 1.55 degrees (0.86 Celsius) above the 20th century average, 0.22 degrees above 2014, the previous warmest year. NOAA points out 2015’s lead over 2014 is “larger than the uncertainty associated with the dataset” leaving no question 2015 is in unprecedented territory in the current era.
NASA climatologist Gavin Schmidt tweeted Tuesday that there is a 99.9 percent the year will close as the warmest.
Eight of 10 months in 2015 have ranked as the warmest on record, including the last six, according to NOAA. The only months which weren’t the warmest, January and April, ranked second and third warmest in records that date back to 1880.

Personally, I'm enjoying global warming so far. It's only gotten below 40 a few nights this month and it's already halfway through November.
