Sept highest recorded temperature anomaly in recorded history UPDATE 1

Looks like the bullshit about temperatures dropping was just that - bullshit.
2015 is going to go down as the hottest year in recorded history by a huge margin. Looks like global warming is starting to accelarate as predicted.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/capital-weather-gang/wp/2015/10/21/after-record-shattering-september-2015-in-commanding-lead-for-earths-hottest-year-on-record/
Globally, glaciers are retreating or have vanished. The North Pole ice cap is smaller and smaller every summer and most disturbing is the South Pole ice thickness is decreasing at an alarming rate, in some places by meters per year.

September was weird for sure. Very hot and humid. Really high UVs too, I've never gotten a sunburn in September before this year.

The thermometer was developed during the 15th and 16th centuries. Assuming they were accurate, the entire recorded temperature period is 400-500 years. 500 years out of 4.5 billion. Yeah, decisiveness for the win.

Glaciers that have been around for millennia are gone - all in the past 50 years. You don't need a thermometer.

Glaciers come and go. They do not denote overall global temperatures

At most 500 years of temperature,
Age of the earth is 4.5 billion years.
500/45,000,000,000 years is 1.1111%
You have over 1% of total earth climate, yup climate change.

A different argument can be made if scientists had 500,000 years of data or 1,000,000 years.
In the year 2015 we have 500-600 years of localized data, that's it. Lets be real, its a drop in the bucket, in the course of global history.

They do have data. Thermometers are not the only way to measure historical temperatures.
I'm going to step in here and correct your math: 500/4.5 billion is .000011%

You're right that we didn't start recording temperature that long ago. But your math... you're off by several orders of magnitude.

What is the oldest ice they have from ice core samples?
I think its a million years old, that still a small percentage, like 3 %.
What other hysterical temperature measuring methods are there?

You know its kinda pointless to say recorded history? History kind of implies its been recorded.
