Difference between young trich colonies and myc on agar

I'll post some pictures soon, but I have 8 agar plates that I put 2-3 month old Liquid Culture of Albino A+ and it seems like it is mycelium but it is surprisingly "fluffy". I see some very rhizomorphic strands branching out, but nonetheless some parts look extremely fluffed. Almost, might I dare say, like cobweb mold. I am uncertain.
My question then is, trich starts off white doesn't it? How long does it take before it becomes green? What about cobweb?

Mad Season said: I wouldn't bother cutting it. Trich is parasitic. It's a lot more than that green spot. That's just the sporulation. Trich is actually white and it's definitely intertwined in your mycelium now.

Actually only the aerial mycelium is white. The vegetative mycelium that grows through the substrate is sort of greyish and is so thin it's to hard to see even on agar.

The aerial myc will also have that sandy/granular look too, but it just hasn't turned green yet. Generally trich is MUCH more than the visible green spot.
TBH I've seen lots of people mistake trich for cobweb

Here's also an example to show how similar trichs myc can actually be to cube myc, and how stress (shaking a jar/cutting the culture) will help sporulte/show trich. This is also a reason why it doesn't show up until after you've spawned.
Cobweb:

its hard to tell from pictures because of shitty white balance settings but though the cobweb on this plate looks white it was pretty off white. the cube mycelium is in the middle it's the brighter white and it was completely overcame.

cobweb is a bit of a bad word since there's cobweb disease which is a disease of the fruit body crop. and then what shroomery calls cobweb mold which can be many species of molds with a similar morphology. but may have very different spores for instance
Look how much more aggressive cobweb is over cubensis
Hope this helps. But pics would really help!

Much thanks Mad Season. When I get a moment I will upload those pictures. Pretty sure it's myc given the info you gave.
