Requesting Several IDs
    #22412120 - 10/21/15 01:39 AM (8 years, 3 months ago)

1)I call this one 'BOOBIES!' every time I see it. I know I am juvenile.

2)I think this is a pink oyster mushroom. It seemed more pink/purple in person.

3)Amanita Francheti...Calyptroderma..?

4)Armillaria Species?

In the third photo above there are some confirmed armillaria, mixed with the variety I am trying to identify. I'm not sure if they're all variations on armillaria

5)This one reminds me of a verpa.

6)Plums and Custard? Pretty colours.

7)Spongey polypore growing on dead deciduous wood.

8)Ever mistake poop for fungus? This is the bear variety.

9)Funky Polypore

10)This one is driving me nuts.

11)So Familiar. I must have an ID on it somewhere.

12)Tricholoma Flavovirens?

13)This one haunts me. Like a cross between tricholoma flavovirens and gypsy.

14)This one I kept thinking was gypsy in the ground but it was more orange. The stem was often slimy and occasionally on other examples showed a bit of purple hue near the base.

16)Wavy stems! Deep rooted like western red rooter in moss humps.

17)I need to get better at my polypores. Dyer's?

18)Apologies for the lack of undershot. These ones have a yellow, indented cap with darker brown stem. Very common, growing on wood. Not craterellus tubaeformis.

19)Again, lacking an undershot. White stems... common. Remind me of hypholoma species a little bit.

If you want more details besides photos that I might not have, let me know and I can repost with an extension on the description with the ID form filled out.

I advise any noob looking to identify mushrooms to fill out the ID form and provide clear photographs. Knowledge is a privilege and deserves respect. Let's give due props to the experts!

2. Maybe Pluerotus djamor, but the gills are usually closer in color to the cap I think.

I thought P. djamor was a tropical species? Have you considered Panus conchatus for 2?

On this page, figure 3 seems pretty convincing. But I'm not totally sold, yet.

Pleurotus djamor seems too pink! And I'm in the PNW of Canada.

YES! It was on the tip of my tongue.

For the Amanita (#3) I am considering a. breckonii

I would really love some consultation on #4, #5, and #13 if anyone has ideas.

Nice! Very likely growing out of a truffle! The air smelled like truffles when I pulled up the duff to reveal the base for the photo.

Cordyceps Capitata.

The Lighting, that is an exciting ID! I do collect immune modulating plants and fungi for infusions to make holistic cocktails, so that is promising. Thank you :-)
