Update on first grow: Day 7 of fruiting, hows this look?

Fruiting started last week, wed night. Hyphal knots turned up 4/5 days ago and heres what the tins look like now:
Attaching pictures on the thread pretty much blows up my post cause the pictures are way too big. I want a high res pic so you guys can see whats going on, please visit the imgur link:
http://imgur.com/a/MlTjC
first pic is hyphal knot close up second is misted substrate last one is substrate left alone (that was initially colonized with cake tin lid on, unlike the other. had thicker myc)
zoom in and check out all the knottage
I was thinking some of my myc was looking a bit dry so i misted one tin to see if i see any pinning, but still none on both. As you can see i have tons of knots on both tins, high res pics so zoom in and check it out. I first noticed the knots towards the the third day of fruiting. Since then, i've seen more and more knots and now i'm covered with them, but no pins. When do i see pins? I've searched through so many posts concerning hyphal knots and most every response i've seen online is that in a matter of a few days those knots are supposed to turn into pins.
I just want to be sure; is this something that will be fine with some patience, or is there some reason my knots are having a hard time becoming pins?
Constant temps between 72-77 tops, where my monotub sits. Indirect lighting every day from a cfl 15w, today i'm going to pick up a cfl 6500k bulb. I even put the tub by my window to get some natural light on the myc a few hours per day. The tub seems dialed in pretty good with streaks of dry on the side holes and rings around my sub level holes.
I've misted, as i mentioned before, right on one of the substrates. I've also fanned/misted walls to get some extra evaporation here and there when i noticed the knots, and re-misted just to build up some of the lost moisture of opening the tub again. Only misted the sub directly on the tin once though, otherwise just on the walls to rebuild humidity after opening up the tub for pictures/fanning. I know with a properly dialed in mono things are supposed to be set and forget but i just fanned a bit extra.
Also, I did case, but I cased the same day from when my substrate went from bags to cake tins with coco. I cased with coco/verm and it colonized 100% (took about 12/13 days) and i introduced fruiting conditions afterwards. I learned that a 70/30 coco verm mix is not a functional casing layer, next time i'll try a mostly verm mix for casing.
When i put the substrate under the window to get some natural light, from the side I notice very slight blue bruising at the tips of the arms of my mycelium, like tiny. Don't even notice it without some light. Other than that and a bit of a yellowing to a small area of myc also at their tips (visible in the picture), and from what i understood it was because the myc on the tips got dry so i misted directly on the substrate that night.
So again, why no pins yet? Excited to see so many knots!

thanks for the response, def goes along with all the other encouraging info I've read from RR. I've gotten from other places too that my mycelium looked good, and the strain im growing is apparently a good colonizer/fruiter. I believe im growing Mazapatec right now, i won't know til they fruit cause i had unmarked syringes of cube spores and only 1 of my nocd bags worked out.
I've read most of RR's comments on the subject already, just some grey areas left though, i got most of the info down i think. I just don't wanna mess up on this last stage with so many knots on my subs. I know the myc at this point, what was worrying me was the amount of time passing by after seeing the knots already. I saw a handful of posts where people were asking the same thing but they didn't even have knots to begin with, or had stalled fruits already. Their subs were dried out etc. Mine isn't the case, humidity seems good, myc seems fluffy, shit ton of knots for a week now, etc. (unless im wrong) which is why i post

From this point most people will say it'll be soon and once you see one they will all come hard
But yeah keep doing what your doing . All your steps seem right from me researching.

Humidity doesn't mean anything. What matters is the surface of the myc.
Quote:
Air exchange is the number one pinning trigger. Humidity is farther down the list. Perhaps the number 2 pinning trigger is a loss of moisture from the substrate. If you try to avoid misting by constantly pumping in wet air, you don't have a loss of moisture from the substrate and performance is poor.
You want constant air exchange, and then as the cake or other substrate dries out, you mist to replace the lost moisture. This dry-wet cycle is a MAJOR pinning trigger. There is no automated system that can replace your eyeballs and mister. I'm an electrical engineer by profession with a specialty in automation, so believe me when I say if the whole process could be automated, I'd have done it years ago. RR
What does the surface look like? Is there beads of water all over it? Is it glistening with no pooled water? What's your chamber? You'd be surprised what fae and proper misting can do.

I got some pictures on my other thread.
I'm using a monotub. I'm running 4 holes along the sub level and 2 up at the top on the shorter sides. I also have 2 holes along the top on the long sides but the whole thing is dialed in where i have rings around my holes, and streaks down the side vents with loose polyfill.
No pools of water, event he substrate i misted directly has no pools. All droplets of water as you say, yes.
I've fanned about 2 times per day this past 4 days to get some more evap going (as you mention) even though monotubs are supposed to function alone.
So far thats where i'm at.

Yeah that doesn't look like it is to me. In that PIC it looks quite dry actually. The entire surface needs to be glistening. Not a couple spots. That's almost dried out by the looks of it..

Hmm. Theres a lot of these beads of water on them yes, i'll take a look again. If i see theres a lot of empty, no bead areas i'll just take like 10 ccs of sterilized water and inject it into the substrates?

I find on monos, once you mist it seems you gotta mist once a day at least. Just spray lightly a foot away. Just try to get the majority of the centre glistening. No need to be too ocd. Once you do start misting often, you can even loosen the top holes a bunch. My top holes are generally almost falling out, or not even stuffed. Proper misting with fae ftw
But definitely take more pics if you can. And upload it to the site please

okay! So, something i didn't notice. Last night, i got like very tiny, just a few, pins on both subs. Just on a tiny sq inch area on both subs. I'm going to go ahead and mist the other sub from a few feet away, and i'll upload pics at the end of the day! It seems maybe a drop of temps triggered it because i put them by my window
Yes, i will upload them to the site on this thread, but i'll just have to take some time to re-size them cause the pics are fukin huge

Damn. West Coast heat seems to be the problem. One night under the window in cool breeze seemed to have done the trick, unless it was just coincidence cause it was already day 6 of knots.
Just got home, cranked the a/c up and put my tub just beside the stream of cool air. Gave it a good fan and fresh mist too.

Don't use aluminum. Mushrooms can leech the metal out and your body can not get rid of it.

Note taken, aluminum is generally bad. I'll line with plastic next time, its just so neat in the trays and my tub fits 2 snugly, perfect for fruiting n i was lazy.
... but I don't think the leeching is an issue lol, rather it causes side pinning cause myc eats it up and air gets up in that beeyatch
Thanks!

IMO be careful with what you mean by "heavy". If you do too heavy of a misting it can cause pins to abort among other problems.

A sweet spot between heavy, and not enough
I know there is no exact science but general "good" amounts of whatever it is you're mixing/adding/misting/ etc. So far so good it seems cause i got an even pinset on both of my tubs. the only problems are apparent dryness, and no liner (which isn't that big of a deal) but i def see the where the myc ate away at the aluminum on the sides. Theres tiny dots hehe.
I just misted a while ago, and i misted enough for there to be beads of water all over no pooling. The sub soaks in a bit of it pretty easy.

Check it out. I know the picture isn't the best cause of all the moisture but you can guesstimate the size range of these guys. I'm at day 6 of them growing so far, and no veils have been popped yet, except one. I think it popped prematurely, if that even happens. Might just take him out and munch on it fresh.
There were so many damn shrooms they all sucked the water right out of my sub. I injected about 8-10 ccs of water around in each substrate, and will dunk them after harvest hopefully get half the pinset as i do now. When i dunk, do i gotta rip out all the fresh pins in there too?

I'm at day 6 of them growing so far, and no veils have been popped yet, except one. I think it popped prematurely, if that even happens. Might just take him out and munch on it fresh.
There were so many damn shrooms they all sucked the water right out of my sub. I injected about 8-10 ccs of water around in each substrate, and will dunk them after harvest hopefully get half the pinset as i do now. When i dunk, do i gotta rip out all the fresh pins in there too?
If I remember correctly 10g fresh = 1g dry? So keep that in mind if you're not satisfied.

I don't dunk trays. Just mist heavily between flushes. I even sometimes mist heavily with a pinset already in. Contrary to popular belief it will not abort them. Pooled water will bring all sorts of problems tho, so never let it get pools.
I think day 6 is normal. It can take 10 days or so if you have extremely cool temps (~60ish)

another veil popped, most are still a bit in need of more maturing. I'm going to leave them overnight and see what happens, if i see more viels poppin' ill just cut em out and give em a good spray. I also injected the cakes with some water, so i'll maybe inject some more through the sides of the sub and tin where it shrunk. harvest pics and flush 2 pics will come soon I was just under the impression that they're pretty much about to be mature since i saw a couple of the caps starting to stretch the veils.
BTW Whats the downside to baby shroomies? Even the not-so-matured ones i harvest when the viels pop? No matter the size they are all the same with weight right? I have a mini forest of 1.5-3 inch mushies lmao
edit: thanks for the responses guys, really means a lot learned so much for my next run.

Hey guys, im back for an update.
So things went pretty well, got a decent second flush almost the same as the first, and just today i harvested the third flush (which was my most successful). Really nice fruits in the third flush. Theres new pins everywhere and no signs of contam so i'm running it for a fourth flush to see what happens
Second flush:

second flush dry

Third flush picked today:

No scale yet so i will weigh it all once everything is completely harvested and dried with a friends scale.
