Ha, what?

So, are you researching the cultural dynamics of Japanese youth? Or just ranting because you saw a ladyboy for the first time?

It has actually been a point in the news over the past few years:

Quote:

...Aoyama, 52, is trying to cure what Japan's media calls sekkusu shinai shokogun, or "celibacy syndrome".

Japan's under-40s appear to be losing interest in conventional relationships. Millions aren't even dating, and increasing numbers can't be bothered with sex. For their government, "celibacy syndrome" is part of a looming national catastrophe. Japan already has one of the world's lowest birth rates. Its population of 126 million, which has been shrinking for the past decade, is projected to plunge a further one-third by 2060. Aoyama believes the country is experiencing "a flight from human intimacy" – and it's partly the government's fault.

Quote:

The number of single people has reached a record high. A survey in 2011 found that 61% of unmarried men and 49% of women aged 18-34 were not in any kind of romantic relationship, a rise of almost 10% from five years earlier. Another study found that a third of people under 30 had never dated at all. (There are no figures for same-sex relationships.) Although there has long been a pragmatic separation of love and sex in Japan – a country mostly free of religious morals – sex fares no better. A survey earlier this year by the Japan Family Planning Association (JFPA) found that 45% of women aged 16-24 "were not interested in or despised sexual contact". More than a quarter of men felt the same way.

Quote:

Some of Aoyama's clients are among the small minority who have taken social withdrawal to a pathological extreme. They are recovering hikikomori ("shut-ins" or recluses) taking the first steps to rejoining the outside world, otaku (geeks), and long-term parasaito shingurus (parasite singles) who have reached their mid-30s without managing to move out of home. (Of the estimated 13 million unmarried people in Japan who currently live with their parents, around three million are over the age of 35.) "A few people can't relate to the opposite sex physically or in any other way. They flinch if I touch them," she says. "Most are men, but I'm starting to see more women."

Aoyama cites one man in his early 30s, a virgin, who can't get sexually aroused unless he watches female robots on a game similar to Power Rangers. "I use therapies, such as yoga and hypnosis, to relax him and help him to understand the way that real human bodies work." Sometimes, for an extra fee, she gets naked with her male clients – "strictly no intercourse" – to physically guide them around the female form. Keen to see her nation thrive, she likens her role in these cases to that of the Edo period courtesans, or oiran, who used to initiate samurai sons into the art of erotic pleasure.

The Japanese government is rather concerned about it, but there is more and more of a move towards pay services.

Even if the Native Americans werent compassionate they wouldve had 0 chance against european technology.

Thats like blaming a child for being molested by a pedophile

You've seen images on Indians on horseback with rifles, no?

They were compassionate and they were peace loving with absolutely no reason to war amongst each other. It made them soft, weak, and complacent. There were many civilizations that blunted the force of European technologies and adapted, or at the very least SURVIVED.

And the parents should have protected their child better; don't use lame metaphors, they break down after a few runs of logic. Just as mine, just as yours.

Unrestrained compassion allows the parasites to bleed you dry.

You may want to pick up a history book. Native American tribes most certainly did fight amongst themselves.

It creeps me out that if you would build Nazi style death camps to exterminate whatever demographic you can think of, you would have a flood of applications of people who'd want to work there.

I'd be willing to bet the same results could be found in american youth, glued to video games and electronics all day.

I know, it was a simple metaphor that everyone has chosen to stretch very far and I'm not going to contest every little nuisance.

Compassion is great, but you give it to people who don't earn or deserve it and they will take advantage of it. If you've never had that happen to you, then consider yourself lucky.

Indeed, I see it everyday..and fall victim to it myself.

Really?

Last time I checked we are doing pretty well. How does a disconnected species conquer the entirety of this planet?

I can see you're not gonna understand what I'm trying to say.

But to answer your question simply..Over time we ate, slept and bred enough to populate the planet.

Yes this is something I've been researching. Someone else already posted a shit ton of info on it so I'll let you sift through that. It's at a point where most youth actually dislike people in relationships now.

Not so much a creep out but what can get me in a rage is being around a group of people whose conversations consistently consist of "topping" each other. For

those unaccustomed to topping I'll explain. This is your friend or coworker that whenever you try and have a conversation with they come back at it with

something that has absolutely nothing to do with the convo, it is just something that they wish to talk about; which is usually themselves. I fucking

hate most of society as this is how most conversations seems to go.

Maybe if you got off your horse and spoke to me eye to eye I would.

That's a very simplified version of our history. We relied on each other to survive and move forward, nor nations were not built by a single person. We are herd animals. It's just that in recent times we have made such huge leaps in technology that our culture has not properly adjusted. Is that what you refer to in regards to disconnection?

Certainly a lot of people block themselves up and create walls. Shit, I certainly did when I was youngster. Many moments lost in sadness and despair, listening to The Wall by old pink.

Now that I am older though, I see that pure and based selfishness leads to suffering. I do my best to keep my blood relatives close and safe. As well as, my friends who are willing to open themselves to the light and be guided by virtue and love.

Forgive me for the snarky remark, you're obviously capable.
I'm just grumpy because it's been raining and my plans are shot.

But yeah that's what I was referring to, the attachment we have to our devices and things.

Generally humans are most creeped out by the big four taboos - incest (especially parent child),
Necrophilia, murder and cannibalism.

Two of my best friends (a brother and sister) both seriously insist they want to try human meat.

I think that is mindblowingly fucked up. They are dead serious too.

My personal issue is piercings. Belly button piercings, nose rings, cheek or lip piercings, clit piercings and even earrings all disgust me enormously .

I can make myself puke just by thinking about piercings in My mouth.

something that creeps me out alot is people that arent aware of themselves

and that cant really situate themselves and figure themselves out

its like they are just walking robots blindly following into societies

guidelines.. people that cant be happy with spending time alone because

they dont really know who they are, its like theyre just the product of their environment.

I think its disgusting because everyone is so beautiful and unique and its a shame that people are raised in such a way that they cant let themselves strive with potential

CULTIVATE YOUR MIND PEOPLE

Veal is supposed to be closest to tasting like human meat. Tell them to eat some veal. Or eat eachother. Cannibalism is legal with eachother consent and no one is dieing.

But what's wrong with peircings? I have 3.
