Oral DMT extraction question

Am I correct in assuming, from what I've read, to extract DMT for oral use you simply do your naphtha pulls after the acidification stage and before the basification stage? (I've recently had much success extracting freebase using atb teks).

That is not correct but you can oral freebase as it is converted to acid-salt by stomach acid. Straight may burn I've never tried it, dissolved in soda would acidify it first too. But you still need an MAOI.
The initial acid pull in a a/b is to knock out the fat, as George Forman would say:)
Back to the tek, the DMT will only completely (99.9%) go into the naphtha if the ph of the aqueous phase is higher than 11. If you want acid-salt you want to basify, pull with naphtha multiple times, discard basic solution, pull naphtha with acidic solution multiple times (ph below 6 for 99.9%), then evaporate the acid solution leaving eg DMT hydrochloride if HCl was used etc.
Hope that helps

So if I got my freebase DMT, dissolved it in a vinegar/water mix (making sure the ph is < 6) and let the solution evaporate I would be left with DMT HCL for oral use? If this is correct, could one just drink the solution, perhaps with a mixer? (Obviously after consuming a MAOI)

That ph<6 I stated is only required when shifting freebase DMT from naphtha (non-polar solvent) into an aqueous phase salt.
What you mentioned would just be an acid base reaction. It wouldn't matter if you put excess vinegar as it would be evaporated off anyway.
When using vinegar (aka acetic acid) you will end up with DMT Acetate salt which I've read is quite gooey/waxy and hard to work with.
