I think these are honey mushrooms. I would really appreciate a positive ID from some of y'all so I can feel comfortable eating them.
Specimen #1

Habitat: Mixed forest in eastern central Georgia. Growing around on and around a hardwood stump.
Gills: White, notched gill attachment.
Stem: Light colored with some faded discoloration near the base.
Cap: Yellowish brown on the edges, fading into brown at the center.
Spore print color: Currently taking spore print, but spores on some of the more mature clusters appeared white.
Bruising: Nothing noticeable
Other information: Ever so slightly sticky surface.
Specimen #2 This second cluster I found in a different area of the same forest. It looks very similar but the caps are darker. Do you think it's the same species?

No spore print on these yet. Taking it currently.
Specimen #3 Bonus lion's mane pic!

Please let me know if you have any thoughts about these potential honey mushrooms. I would really love to be able to ID these. Thanks everyone!

I think they're both honey mushrooms.
The ones with the darker caps, did they have a ring on the stem as well?

I concur; wait to see that white spore print though.

In my opinion they are armillaria sp.
Nice Hericium though! I haven't found one of those in a couple of years

Thanks everyone! The second cluster with the darker caps also had a ring. You can see it off to the side of the pictures where I have the cap cut off. I just checked the spore prints and both came out very white. I guess that means they're good to eat.
