Problems with nervous system following high doses

Anyone else have this problem? I think it is just the drug healing me and my nervous system adjusting to its new state, but man it hurts! Its like I can feel all these little shifts happening in my nervous system, as I adjust to being more conscious. With each high dose trip, i feel as though it activates areas of my brain which had been shut down as a result of heavy psychological trauma and years of abusing drugs especially benzos and opiates.

Feelings in my head/mind. Feels like my ego/identity is being re-structured, or like the places where I previously felt limited have been broken open. It usually takes about a week for me to recover and then I usually feel better than I did before the trip.
But I am wondering if I could get the same effect from lower doses over a long period of time, without having to suffer as much. I think I made a mistake in taking such a high dose.

Well I wondered if psychedelics which induce neurogenesis could be "aimed" by practicing the tasks you wish to improve (like a memory or language game for an alzheimers patient) while under the influence or whenever the window of peak neurogenisis occurs via the "fires together; wires together" functionality.
If it feels like your brain is restructuring, maybe that's because it is.

at lower dosages, when a task can be focused on you will definitely get "neurogenisis - via the "fires together; wires together" functionality" this is the essence of learning, which is an aggregate of association which is the result of "the "fires together; wires together" functionality".
I think focused lower doses will still work; and your present feelings are like an "overdid it at the gym" thing.
Also there are brain supplements like there are gym supplements. People talking about nootropics like Choline + Piracetam (works especially well with LSD), or quality fish oil potentiating trips. Cultivating the field pays off come harvest.
-------------------- Favorite entheogen experiences in descending order: 1)Combo of oral DMT + smoked Bufotenine 2)Amanita (urine drank twice) 3)Mushrooms > Achuma 16"+cid(still need higher dose Achuma)> Cid (still need high dose) 4)Morning Glory-HBWR (+cumin, cinnamon aldehyde adducts) > Methyl chavicol (need more activators) 5)Salvia (need to try quid)
All readable matter in the above post is ficticious... any similarities to real life are purely coincidental. Blessing.

The gate of transcendence is within the spine. Do you feel pulsing vibrations going through your spine and body?
I also feel the same way my imagination hasn't work so well in years. It's like I ignored it for so many years it started to disappear.
Ancient Kundalini is very interesting and different cultures have their own version of it. Much of what you'll find has been tainted by western thought so it helps to get books on these subjects.
According to the philosophy of Tantra, the entire universe is a manifestation of pure consciousness. In manifesting the universe, this pure consciousness seems to become divided into two poles or aspects, neither of which can exist without the other. Each requires the other in order to manifest its total nature.
One aspect, Shiva, is masculine, retains a static quality and remains identified with unmanifested consciousness. Shiva has the power to be but not the power to become or change.
The other aspect, Shakti, is feminine, dynamic, energetic and creative. Shakti is the Great Mother of the universe, for it is from her that all form is born.
According to Tantra, the human being is a miniature universe. All that is found in the cosmos can be found within each individual, and the same principles that apply to the universe apply in the case of the individual being.
In human beings, Shakti, the feminine aspect is called Kundalini. This potential energy is said to rest at the base of the spinal cord. The object of the Tantric practice of Kundalini-yoga is to awaken this cosmic energy and make it ascend through the psychic centers, the chakras, that lie along the axis of the spine as consciousness potentials. She will then unite above the crown of the head with Shiva the pure consciousness. This union is the aim of Kundalini-yoga: a resolution of duality into unity again, a fusion with the Absolute. By this union the adept attains liberation while living which is considered in Indian life to be the highest experience: an union of the individual with the universe. Once Kundalini Shakti has ascended to above the crown of the head and merged with Shiva, it is made to reverse its course and return to rest at the base of the spine.
In Tantrism the state of ultimate bliss is a transcendence of dualities male-female, energy-consciousness, Shiva-Shakti...

Sahasrara, meaning thousand, is the "Lotus of the Thousand Petals" located four finger-breadths above the crown of the head. Sahasrara chakra is the upper terminal point of Sushumna nadi, the central channel. From Saharara the nectar of immortality (Amrita) flows in a constant stream. Sahasrara chakra is the seat of the parabindu (supreme bindu). It is the location of the merging of Kundalini Shakti and Shiva. By this union the adept attains liberation while living which is considered in Indian life to be the highest experience: an union of the individual with the universe. Sahasrara chakra is located above Brahma-randhra, "the cave of Brahma". It is a hole in the crown of the head through which the soul is said to escape at death. When the Yogi separates himself from the physical body at the time of death, this Brahma-randhra bursts open and the soul comes out through this opening (Kapala Moksha). This opening is also called the ‘Door to Pure Consciousness’ or door of liberation. Once the Kundalini Shakti, also called "Serpent Power", has ascended through Sushumna to Sahasrara, it is made to reverse its course and return to rest in the base center again. Immortality is achieved within Sahasrara Chakra. Before attaining to this chakra the yogi is unable to reach the unconscious conscious state called asama-prajnata-samadhi. In this state there is no activity of the mind and no knower, no knowledge, nothing to be known: knowledge, knower, and known all become unified and liberated. When the Kundalini is raised up to Sahasrara chakra, the illusion of individual self is dissolved. The yogi becomes realized, one with the cosmic principles that govern the entire universe within the body. One is no longer subjected to birth or death. Samadhi is the pure bliss of total inactivity. Up to the sixth chakra the yogi may enter a trance in which activity or form still remains within the consciousness. In Sahasrara Chakra the prana moves upward and reaches the highest point. The mind establishes itself in the pure void of Shunya Mandala, the space between the hemispheres. At this time all feelings, emotions and desires, which are the activities of the mind, are dissolved into their primary cause. The union is achieved. The yogi is sat-chit-ananda, truth-being-bliss. He is his own real self, and as long as he stays in his physical body he retains nondual consciousness, enjoying the play of lila without becoming troubled by pleasure and pain, honors and humiliations.
My blood upon Thy yantra Oh wife of Shiva
My body - the Universe My mind and senses - thought patterns, dissolving Consciousness - I am the Perceiver Lord Shiva
Intoxicated by the scent of blood Destroy personality, duality Intoxicated by the scent of blood Of blood, upon Thy yantra
Dismantle the thought process itself Oh wife of Shiva, the Coiled One Dweller in Muladhara, the Sleeping One
I offer my mind into the air I offer my blood, burning
Inhale the prana Usurp the highest throne Ride the white tiger of wisdom Take the highest seat of consciousness
I offer all my joy and passion, all the desires I sacrifice I offer my past for Thee, dead is the future
I offer all the desires, oh Beautiful One Dead is the future, oh Terrible One Thou art All, Thou art I

drugs are like hammers you use to break a lock, when you have no key. Once you break the lock, you study it so that next time, you know how to open that kind of lock without having to smash it--locks are valuable mechanisms, after all, and useful, even necessary. People who are unfortunate enough to break the lock permanently wind up in mental institutions.
Drugs should be employed like a thorn that one uses to remove a thorn--after you remove the thorn, you throw both thorns away.
Most of our shroomery shamans are just disgused hedonists.
