Always going back for more

If anyone experienced with lysergic could chip in..
Currently exploring the acid landscapes atm. I respect the chemical and am very dedicated to the '20 days in between' rule I've set for it.
My question is, how useful is it to return to these spaces over time? I'm really looking to see how I can potentially heighten and complexify my intellectual faculties with LSD, I'm blown away by the sensory effects. As long as I use it responsibly, can this happen? How far can you use this chemical as a tool before it turns around and bites? Is recreational use still possible with such a profound exp?

I'm not totally sure what you are asking... But I have been taking lsd for over 10 years and it still is very profound... And I haven't always taken long breaks inbetween. I used to abuse it and eat it multiple times in a week and I've still never had trouble getting back out into space.
Hope that answered a little bit... Sorry I'm confused

Verbosity is my downfall but you still kind of answered.
I guess I'm wondering about the implications of returning to these spaces fairly often, the exp is proving quite hard to integrate, but I'm in love with the effects. These crisp clear insights, that pure consciousness feeling, does it fade, does it become empty <- I guess only the hard users know this.

Remember psychedelics do not change us but can show us who and how we want to be. We are the ones who make the change. Good or bad
Try and integrate the positive stuff from your trips into your sober life and then wonder why the negatives ever happened. Everything that happened can be seen as a lesson.
Yes the effects will fade with abuse. But we can bring the positives out and back with us into everyday. You can have that pure consciousness feeling all the time! Thats what i beleive. Try reading Be Here Now by Ram Dass. Thats guy was obsessed with the experience untill he found eastern spirituality. Also 20 days in between is perfect. 14 is fine

The more often that you do it, the less profound it becomes and you just kinda get used to tripping..? Having said that if you take a break and revisit, I have always found that it is super profound again only after a month even... The more foreign the more profound
