Bruising?
    #2240915 - 01/14/04 06:51 AM (13 years, 1 month ago)

Okay, at the risk of sounding naive I'll post this anyway. I'm looking at, no wait, I WAS looking at a jar which I've recently innoculated via G2G, and I've found three or four spots which have a very defined greenish blue tinge to them. At this point it nearly looks like green death, or mold, or whatever it's called. BUT I'm just about 80% sure it's just bruising as I have another jar which I shook up and bruised the very same color.

Has anyone ever had 'supspect' mold cases turn out to be bruising?

It seems as though if it bruises once there is no coming back, and as soon as a little bit of mycellial fuzz grows over it it looks very much like green mold.

A pic will definitely help in this case. Anyway, only time will tell, watch how it develops and report back any change. If those spots grow, i'll start worrying, as for now, just have patience.
