hey guys i got home yesterday from work and when i got out of the car i found these mushrooms which resemble Panaeolus Subbalteatus / Cinctulus im nowhere near positive though can i get some help identifying these please

Those spores look like really dark brown based on the pictures. Ive found subbs recently check out my threads

for cinctulus you want a JET BLACK spore print with no hints of brown at all...unlike the prints in your pics, unfortunately.

Prints will be JET BLACK NO BROWN on cincts, examples:

Also some will have blue base:

Most will have DARK gills as well:

im not sure how to view your thread im brand new here..
yea the print looked black to me but now that im viewing the pics here they look a lot more brown.
well thanks guys i guess ill stick with cyans for now!

You're welcome! Check back later with more, I can help you ID them. Better habitats are FRESHLY SODDED LAWNS and also HORSE MANURE!!!

(although if I could find cyans I would never look for red caps!!! LOL!)

Definitely foes. Use the sharpie test like so:

Gills are the biggest give away when out on the field. Look for grey to black gills in the more mature mushrooms. The cap from foe to cinct is not distinguishable. Maybe for mycologists but not to us.

Yup, look for the super jet black spore prints! Or if your in the PNW just look for some cyans
