This sounded like somebody doing up a zipper right next to your ear but way louder. It was like I had just dozed off and it immediately woke me back up

Yes those are normal.  I often get sleep paralysis as I'm falling asleep and hear someone breaking into my place.  It can happen without the sleep paralysis too.

I've tried giving into the experience many times but I always just end up forcing myself to wake up.  I love sleeping on my back but I get sleep paralysis like 1/3 of the time if I do, and if I get it once, I have to stay up for a while otherwise I'll just keep having it over and over.

For me i feel pressure as though I'm sinking in a pool at record speed, and the sound i hear is comparable to being in a windtunnel.

It feels like my eardrums are about to explode, but if i blank my mind out and bathe in the noise, PROJECTION.  Hasn't happened in a while, but damn is it awesome when it does.

I get the vibrations that get more and more intense and I know if I can hold on it would project me somewhere cool or lucid, but I've still yet to go all the way.  Haven't had the vibrations in a good while now, though I used to when I was more into that stuff.

Yeah that sounds like astral projection.

Has anyone else had this; you can see through you eyelids in the pitch black?  I've had this a few times.

That loud noise used to come to me everytime I laid down.  It was more than just a noise but a vibration going through my whole body, I would vibrate back and forwards really fast then pop out my body into astral projection.  I never left myself though I was too scared.

Oh yes a plenty. Often silent explosions. To me they are extremely loud but I know they aren't external.

One of these days, I might have a few things from personal experience you may be interested in.  I really don't feel like gathering my thoughts right now, or trying to type them out.  But in the next few days maybe we can get a pm thing going.

Maybe you'll get something from it, I dont know.. but, I think just in the course I've chosen and the nature of who I "am".. some doors have opened that you know..  I think it would be interesting to bounce a few stories off you and see what your interpretation is..

I love the seeing through my eyelids effect as I fall asleep.  That hasn't happened for a while either though.  I've asked people about it but nobody has ever known what I'm talking about.

You mean how you see the room just fine even though your eyelids are closed? I get that a lot, more often after MXE use.

It's usually just a tiny bit off for me.  Like everything is there except maybe the door, or a window is in the wrong place.

I once sniffed heroin in my dream and the effects seemed real. It was odd.

The thing that threw me off was that I was consciously feeling the effects.

I've never tried powdered heroin but some how I felt a warm feeling take over my body which led into a big nod.

It felt good.

Did you feel the effects of your dream drug use?

I did yes but they were always a bit different than the drugs effects, though similar.

See I have no experience with that stuff so I could compare. Oh well I'd rather keep it in the dream world.

I dream all the time to a point where it's annoying. Especially when I don't get to finish the dream.,

Now we are on the topic of dreaming, its high time to briong nocturnal visitors up.

Anyone had a Night Hag before?  A small intensely Evil being getting on our chest and pinning you down with their boundless evil?

Or the surprisingly common spirits that try to get in bed with you, especially behind your back, which put weight on the mattress, gently pull the sheets or even fondle you?

Maybe an incubus or succubus, a spirit making love with you in a highly exciting way, often felt, sometimes seen?

People, creatures or horses walking into the room, looking at you etc?

Damn near all the above.

Just keep sitting still and go through with it.  You will return and it's smooth sailing after you hit the lucid dreaming zone.  Even feels rewarding.

In America, your alarm clock shoots you to wake you up.

How can anyone know if they like to sleep?  I think you can enjoy laying down to sleep and it's possible to enjoy waking up, but how can you actually KNOW if you like the in-between part if you're asleep for it?
