PF Tek to corn? birdseed?

he started out with 11 jars, but 3 were taken by gods aweful plan.

he needs a large amount for the upcoming snowboarding trip, so he is faced with a question. Should he take the colonized PF Tek style jars and mix them up with maybe, some corn or birdseed? Hmm, I believe that is the question. But wait, can that even be done? Hopefully SOMEBODY will know the answer to this naughty little tale.

I dont even grow these things... I just post for this guy that knows a guy, who's sisters boyfriend dumped about 2 months ago.

You could do it... but, you would need some pretty darn sterile conditions to do it sucessfully.

Birdseed/corn will contaminate quite easily when the jar is opened in a non sterile environment.

Id stick with the jars... Just case the PF cakes in coco-coir/vermeculite.

you could use 1 or 2 of your jars to spawn some grain jars,it would have to be done in a glovebox.
a simple still air GB misted heavily with iso will suffice.
make sure you wipe down the jars you are going to use also,they will be unsterile due to handling.

iv'e had succuss uising this method with just a few small spoons of myc per grain jar
it would be worth trying to grate the cakes up with a cheese grater inside the GB.then add a tea spoon of shavings to each jar.
