7 month truffle grow, still don't have sclerotia forming

I inoculated in March of 2015, it's now October of 2015. 4 and a half months ago I realized the growth was stunted and discussed it on here in this thread.
http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/21730732
The problem was isolated to being the 0.22µm gas exchange filters providing poor GAE. I was advised to get synthetic filter disc. I did so and successfully replaced all of the filters roughly 4 months ago.
There was a big difference, they started colonizing a lot more rapid. Comparing the pictures of them now to the ones then, I see a difference. The colonization once again seemed to slow down after a few weeks. Now there's little, if any, notable difference week to week. I'm clueless why this is taking so long. I mean - 7 months and I'm just now getting some sclerotia development. I'm a pretty patient dude, but this hurts lol. I've heard of the process taking 3-4 months - that's unfathomable to me right now :p.
What could be the problem? Is there anything I can do to speed up the growth?
Here are the pictures of the jars currently

Thank you! ^_^

Yeah I don't think you're going to get anywhere with this maybe time to start a new grow.

I'm not sure exactly what stone producer mycellium looks like, but that does not look like cube mycellium. It looks way to fluffy and nontextural in pic 2, jar 1 & 2. Are your spores from a reliable source?
Regardless, it sounds like your grow is hosed.

I spawned some popcorn casings and had double-overlay cause I didn't put enough hydrogen peroxide in my automated aquarium mister. I only got one mushroom so I cut off the head part where the seeds fall from and put it in a jar of LC and sprayed it all over a tin of PF cakes I made with gravel, cardboard, and bisquick in my microwave. I think it will be good cause B+ is so potent. Triggered yet? Only a square would say "a cube is a cube."
No, this does not look right...

The spores were from a reliable Shroomery sponsor

i would just start some new jars. You could spawn those, then refill those jars with a fresh batch.
sometimes if i shake mine late, like closer to 30-40% instead of like 20% itll stunt the truffle growth a lot, never that bad tho, but if they are otherwise healthy, you could spawn them and get some fruits.

What's causing them to stunt? I would guess, its lack of gas exchange. Would poking needle holes in the filter disc be a bad idea? Would breaking up the mycelium now be bad?

The reason I'm leaning towards the truffle grow:
I live in a apartment and consistently have people over. I like the stealth of a truffle grow as I have a very small studio space. If spawned, the grow would take place in my closet. I'm not so much concerned with the colonizing to bulk substrate process as I know the case will be covered by a trash bag, but when fruiting, if a drunk hooligan stumbles on the grow it'll be a huge red flag :p. Within what time frame does the fruiting process take? How do you guys hide the lights that might illuminate through cracks/under the door?
I'd prefer to avoid spawning at all cost but would like info to be able to debate whether it's a option.
Also, since I'm inexperienced with bulk substrate, would it be a good idea to spawn a few jars to do a few small scale bulk grows in order to familiarize myself with the process? I have around 22 jars :p.
Regardless, I'm really interested in isolating the problem I'm currently having. Why does stunting happen? I did shake the jars, but if not shaken enough, why does growth stunt? Is there anything I can try on a few jars to see if it stimulates growth?
Thank you! ^_^
