Do I need to replace this pressure gauge? (All American)

Here is the upgraded lid I havent had this PC all that long, but the pressure gauge is off by 3 psi it looks like. It doesn't return to zero after a cycle.
I dont know if therr is any way to calibrate it at home but I doubt it.
It doesnt really bother anything I just have to remember its a few PSI off But I just upgraded my 921from PC to sterilizer with stop cock so I want the gauge to work correctly probably.
Thanks!

Replace it. I used to have to test a lot of pressure gauges at work and just because it is off 3psi at zero doesn't mean it is off 3 psi at higher pressures. It could be off 3psi at 15 psi or dead on at 15 psi or off 20 psi at 15 psi. The only way to tell is to test it against a certified gauge. A new gauge is fairly cheap. I always ran redundant gauges on everything and replaced them on a regular basis but we dealt with some seriously dangerous shit.

I wouldn't replace it unless you got the cash handy. I went years with my gage like yours. 3 psi isn't much. Your new control valve will open around 26. It will give you a warning if you listen, a light hiss. Run it. Cook at 23psi with the rest of the grownups
-------------------- Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.

It says 18 when it starts rattling so yea its definitely just off by 3
So while Im on it, how do I run it proper with the stop cock? Ive never used a sterilizer before I havent run it yet. Figured I should ask first haha

Mine had it's maiden voyage last night. Make sure you know how the stopcock opens to vent steam. I was an idiot and didn't realize you have to actually pull the lever vertical. I made a video (hilarious to watch now) just flicking the lever around because I thought mine was defect.
I brought the pressure up fairly slow and then once I was about 19-20 psi started adjusting my stove to find where it would hold a little over 20 psi for 3 hours. I admit I sat with it for almost 45 minutes and then kept checking on it every 15 minutes. Everything went smooth as could be and I think I feel comfortable not being a complete nanny with it now
