When i first used the website it actually worked. But then now as i look at it I think it's a certain program that gets you to choose a certain number so basically the website forces you to pick the right number. Maybe I'm wrong. Tell me what you think.

Look at the symbol next to the number you chose... click on the "click here to try again" button, and then look at the symbol next to the same number... what a suprise, they changed it. I guess that there's a limited amount of numbers that could possibly be correct, and all those numbers always have the same symbol next to them, a symbol that is changed each time you start over.

it works out that every time you do that arithmetic you get a number with 9 as a factor. look at 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, etc. and theyre all the same.

What a coincidence...that's even weirder!
This new age phenomena can also be explained with mathematical principals!!!

Good observation... it's a clever trick, but of course, there's no magic.
Creating an illusion over the internet presents a unique challenge. There was another trick that used a similar method that was fairly popular a couple years ago. There's an example of it here:

If anyone has any ideas about how to do other internet magic tricks I'd love to hear them.

There was a card trick that was popular for a while.
This one is pretty easy to figure out, you choose a card out of six and then the internet magically figures out which card is your's and takes it away on the next page. There are five cards left, and yours is gone. The trick is they just put five different cards up, and you don't realize it!
