Mescaline advice?

Hello shroomery world. I would like to hear any advice and experience for taking meacaline. I have done shrooms and acid 100+ but this will be a first. How should I prepare set and setting? Similar to shrooms? And what should I expect to feel, especially physically? How is anxiety level compared to shrooms/acid?

mescaline is very very chill on the mind and body. Just prepare the same way you'd do for shrooms/acid

I'm preparing for that first cactus trip too. I tried to read up, and from what I heard mescaline is easier on the mind/anxiety than shrooms.
In another thread I asked the same thing, and someone said something like: "Mescaline is a luxurious BMW on a country ride, while shrooms can be like being tied to the front of a raging freight train in a storm."
I have yet to confirm this metaphor, but it did convince me not to worry in advance.
Love, Hanz.

Right on. The only real negative I am seeing is nausea. I never get nauseous on shrooms, but that's because I make tea. Any way to combat nausea from the cacti? Or just puke it out as needed and accept that as a normal response?

I'm not sure for cacti. When I've done mescaline I've only extracted the white crystals from it, acid base extraction. When you do that its nothing but smooth sailing. I can't speak for cacti tea.

It's a phen so it's way more gentle than acid or mushrooms... That being said it still deserves much respect
It's awesome. Have fun dude!

Going on an empty stomach is very helpful to combat nausea. I wouldn't eat anything the day of the trip, and you should take it in the early afternoon as it is an all day experience. A lot depends on how you're ingesting the mescaline, as well as what species it came from. Extracted crystals? Tea? Straight cactus flesh?
Ginger is the generally accepted go-to for nausea, as well as marijuana, which also helps the psychedelic experience. I read someone saying that anti-nausea medication may interact with the mescaline to reduce its affect. This may or may not be true but I wouldn't risk weakening my trip personally.

I pureed 2 feet of (thin) cactus and just ate the flesh and had little to no nausea. Only a grumbling potbelly for a few hours, nothing worse than the usual psychedelic-stomach-ache. Didn't vomit at all, nor had I the urge to do so. I felt fine all the time. It's been a few months since.. I plan to trip again in november.
Mescaline is calm and gentle. You don't get these weird thoughts you get from shrooms or lsd, it's less visual but more energizing. And it takes three full hours to kick in. But then it's like , for 24 hours if you're lucky.
