Here ya go
I'm sure you have one of these banks in NY (I'm canadian... so I don't know which ones are national)
https://localbitcoins.com/buy-bitcoins-online/US/united-states/cash-deposit/
Thats for philadelphia I think but you can probably find hella different cities and states with people willing to sell.
Nevermind thats for all of US. If for some reason they're going by your IP address. Go on a free VPN service or pay a couple dollars for one.
Fuck NY.

Good ideas, shadows. But if there is no rule against buying dark, lite, etc coins in ny, buy those and trade them on an out of state site. If the law is only against buying and selling and not against possessing btc, transfer them back to ny or keep them in your btc wallet.

Bitcoin regulation is coming everywhere eventually. I could set up a legal website and take all bitcoin payments and pay no tax. Government isn't going to put up with that.

They will have to. They are already selling bitcoins from this silk road shit as property, not currency. If it was considered currency, they couldn't sell it to the highest bidder like they are doing.

But if I sell property that's not my main residence and make a profit I have to declare that as income. If bitcoins go up and you cash out the taxman doesn't know about it. You mark my words regulation is coming.

It will be a long time.
BTC hasn't even rooted itself in the society yet. And it is only accepted by a very very small percentage of businesses. It would have to be on a bigger scale before the government would step in and want a cut.

Its no different than buying some silver and selling it later at a profit. Its the same as buying and selling anything even jelly beans. Govt has a better chance at regulating jelly beans than bitcoins. The ny law is so easy to get around, it only has an effect on exchanges and people too dumb to circumvent it. Even if usa banned all exchanges there would still be person to person transactions and overseas would get all the business.
Govt will grandly ignore btc and it will gradually become accepted.

Bring it on, the government will never win this cat and mouse game on the internet. The cats are always well fed, but they can never stop the rats from doing what the fuck we want.
Maybe someday the government will realize it's impossible to win a game of wack a mole, but probably not because they're profitting from all the bullshit too.

We need to take control of govt away from career politicians and give it back to the people.

I feel like there's alot more at play here then career politicians. They are just puppets. The corporations, wall street, the military industrial complex, etc controls all the power atleast in the US. And fucking good luck with that.
That's why I feel like the internet is such an important tool to protect. It's one of the last free things out there.

There are many ways to launder coins. Simply convert them into another type of coin, then convert back. You can also use laundering services like bitfog.
If we stop legalized bribery in all its forms then big money people will no longer be able to control the politicians.

Janky Tits said: New Yorkers are crazy....
Every New Yorker I met this summer at a festival or at the club was either a K addict or coke fiend.
I met this one guy at Ultrabar this summer who was buying drinks for me because I told him I could get him coke. He was literally begging me for Cocaine the entire night and said he was down here on a trip from New York and hadn't snorted coke since he got down here and that he needed to get his hands on coke ASAP.
There was also a fuck load of Ketamine at Moonrise Festival this year because of the New Yorkers. New Yorkers can't get enough of that shit and it's fine but they go crazy with it. All of them were meowing and were kitty tripping. It was funny as fuck and chill and I love K but they are a little nuts and stupid. I like that Bisco isn't in NY anymore. Scranton PA is the real home of Camp Bisco and people in PA are more responsible and less douchey then New Yorkers. It's not the fact that it was relocated that pisses me off, what gets to me is that New York is so uptight and has a stick up their ass and that nearly ruined an entire festival, especially one as good as Camp Bisco
This Bitlicense shit is the last straw

Judging a region based on the people you see at a festival is retarded
