Superior syringe handles/plunger design

Saw a syringe like this on TV the other day and it made me realize the typical design of plastic syringes kinda sucks. Gotta use two hands to aspirate, and two hands to safely depress the plunger. Seems like this design would at least make aspirating easier.
Couldn't find them for purchase anywhere except as "vintage syringes"

Yeah I am looking for a few good vintage ones for the times I want to use liquid inoculates. They are pricey but will last a lot longer than cheap plastic ones I am sure.

You can still handle a 60cc syringe with one hand if you want, you just have to grip it right. Thumb forefinger and middle finger go 2/3 the way up the plunger, squeeze down. The end of syringe barrel goes between the base of your thumb and pinky. If you play around with it you'll probably get it. They make those finger rings on plastic syringes too, you just gotta look around more.

right on. guess I've gotta keep my eyes out
it might be cool to get glass ones. because like pasty said, those plastic ones seem awfully flimsy to be PC'ing all the time. Seems like all the vintage ones have metal...I hope they don't rust

Plastic syringes cant be beat for their cost and effectiveness, the only thing that'll wear out is the rubber, which will wear out on those vintage ones too. Those plastic barrels don't wear out afaik and are 1/10th the price.

no need to pc your syringes just use boiling water to sterilize. You have to do the boiling water step anyways to fill them so might as well clean them that way too. When I first started I tried to PC my syringes with water already in them. Yea that shit didn't work at all lol.

Also a plastic syringe can be had for a dollar. Usually less if you source it through the marketplace basically free if you trade a piece of foil with spores on it haha. Then you can easily reuse one 10+ times. Maybe its just me but glass syringes have never really appealed to me when I could get plastic so much easier and cheaper.

You can pc a syringe with water in it, it just has to point straight up, so get an empty glass quart jar for a holder, then put the syringe in it, some water might come out, like 5ccs or something(on a 60cc, I don't do 10ccs so I can't say bout that). Pointing down drains the liquid once it starts to boil.

Boil over is a pretty big problem too. Due to the small surface area of the syringe it will almost always boil over. This can be fixed by filling the container that you are sterilizing the syringe in with water, but what the point that a pretty big hassle when you could just use a pot and boiling water. It will take a LOT less time. I wasn't saying that it couldn't be done just that there is a lot easier way to go about sterilizing a syringe.
