Is this mycelium?

I had one jar that looked different than the others and colonized faster. All the other jars have rhizo growth but this one just looked off and I also realized I forgot to put a top verm layer in this one, so I decided it was probably ruined and dumped it outside to look at it outside of the jar. Now I'm wondering if I just wasted a good jar. Like I said, all my other jars have good rhizo growth and in this jar the white growth took over in a few days but didn't look like any of the other jars. If anyone knows what it might be or if I messed up and it's mycelium I'd like to know.

Also there's obviously grass on it now because I dumped it in the yard.

Looks like it's just 99% colonized to me. If you want to be 100% safe, throw it in a garden and cross your fingers.

Yeah it's got that thick, dry paint type consistency.

Ya this is B+. I've got about 8 other jars with growth and none of them look like this one at all. All the other jars have rhizo growth. This jar started out cloudy with a lot of condensation and colonized very quick. And like I said, this jar didn't have a verm layer like the others. It may be myc but it didn't look like all my other jars so I didn't want to take the risk.

You should dunk that cake for 18-24 hours, then roll it in some verm, and place it in your SGFC and keep up with the misting/fanning schedule (at least 3x a day). It would be wise to keep it separate from the other cakes because you didn't use a protective verm layer, so there is most likely some type of bacteria present.
And you can use the other 8 healthy cakes to spawn to bulk. Make sure to break them up using a cheese grater to increase inoculation points in your bulk mix.

You think I should put this one in my FC?

If you want to, but only one cake in a FC seems like a waste of time. I'd definitely keep it separate from the others. Never know if trich is gonna pop up.

I ended up washing the grass off in the sink, and a bunch of the white came off also... I'm not sure what this means. This is my first grow so I'm fairly confused at this point.

Okay. I also have one more jar that has had great rhizo growth and is almost 100% until this weird thing happened with it. It's like the growth just stopped in a circle and I'm not sure what it means. Here's a pic.

The mycelium is avoiding colonizing that area for a reason. There's most definitely a contam in the middle there.

So in other words I should go ahead and throw this one out too right? Kind of a bummer since it's one of my further along jars but it makes sense since the circle is at an innoc point. Oh well, I've still got a few more jars doing well.

Is there any way to salvage this jar?

Since you said it stopped growing near the inoculation point, maybe it isn't a contam, but you could have added too much spore solution and the brf mix was too wet for the mycelium to colonize that area of the jar.
Try birthing it and dunking/rolling as normal.

I will probably try that and see what happens. Thanks.

Looks like the myc ran into an obstacle...looks really wet right there...I personally would toss it also...you could segregate it from the others, birth it when you do the others, see if it has and weird scent if it does toss it...if it smells like cubes you can wash off all the uncolonized portion and try to fruit it separately...
