name change

Changing my name in the near future. Would like some suggestions. I've been searching based on name meanings but am having difficulty finding one that suits me. I dont want one as generic as "john" however, im not trying to change it to something absurd. Im a male, if that helps. The motivation behind my name change is personal and I'd rather not go into too much detail but i am named after a family member which I no longer choose to associate myself with.

Jedediah seems like a good solid name, it says I like the outdoors, and might have slept with my sister.

For real though, I like concise old testament names. Noah, Ezra, Isaac, Ezekiel (my name), etc. Obviously if you're not a Christian it wouldn't make a whole lot of sense to change to one of these names but several of them have meanings beyond the religious connotations.
Germanic names are pretty badass too, especially Wolfgang as another member mentioned

Firstly, that isn't Afrikaans. Secondly, Afrikaans is a white language, derivative of Dutch.

You could do whatever the family members name is, and then put an "I" on the end. Like you're the first.
Or you could take a more straight forward route and go with something like..
"You Can't Hurt Me Anymore"
