What's on the agenda?? Can't sleep cause I'm so excited for church.

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Psalm 12:6 The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Good morning. Just waking up and getting ready for doing an Aikido demonstration today. I'm a little nervous, but I think I'll do fine. Not like there's a lot of repercussions if I don't, but it's a ceremony honoring the passing of my sensei's brother, so I want to make sure to do a good job for the sake of honor. After the ceremony, we are going to eat some bomb Vietnamese food and hang out and BS and stuff.

Probably not pho because it's going to be at the dojo. Usually they do a few different stir fry noodle dishes, some fried rice, some BBQ pork, duck, and chicken, and some egg rolls.

sounds like you've got a plan and a half.
oh shit i saw food and my mind went right to it...but i missed the part about the passing.
that sucks to hear, but sounds like he will be missed given the food and all. i give my condolences, in any case.

Oh I probably should have worded that better. I think he passed away like 20 years ago some something. It's commememorationg him because he was a big deal in the Vietnamese Aikido community because he was the first to bring Aikido there.

oh i see i see! that's really cool though, actually, honoring the true-school master eh? (and you train with his brother? no wonder you get so much out of it, training with a master like that)

Does anybody else drink their coffee black?
I'm starting to enjoy it more that way
Kinda on the bitter side but at the same time very pleasant and robust, it's interesting to be able to taste the actual flavor of the bean instead of drowning it out with a shitload of sugar and sweeteners
Plus there appears to be no noticeable crash

i have for the past little while. yet, it's getting some sugar though. it's tasty, can almost pick up a bit of it's own natural sweetness, i'd say. but bitter too, yeah, but it's not as bad as i thought when i was younger.

That's how I've had mine for years and I like it that way too
But I just started drinking it black like a week ago and I'm surprised how much I actually like it compared to when I tried it in the past
I'm sure inferior beans would be very noticeable when you're drinking it black though
I need to try some authentic Kona coffee from Hawaii, apparently it's the bee's knees

I'll go through phases of drinking my coffee black or with milk. It's true, though, the taste difference between good and bad coffee really shines through when drinking black.
Aikido sounds super interesting, I might look into taking a lesson some time. I bet I couldn't afford it though.

Yeah it depends I've paid anywhere between $35 and $90 per month. Some teachers teach just because they want to without looking for profit, but it depends on the situation, cost of overhead, do they have another job, etc.

That's how the Jiu Jitsu trainer in my town is
He's actually a full time police officer, he makes no money from running his gym and martial arts classes, he just does it because he wants to
I really need to go in there soon lol soon I'll force myself to do it

Now I really want some pho
Closest spot for it is like an hour away though.
The first time I ate pho, I ripped up the jalapeno slices with my hands to make the pieces smaller. Then I noticed how spicy it was and started sweating, not thinking about it, I started wiping my face and eyes with my hand and realized that my face felt like it was burning lol. Then I realized it was because the jalapenos were on my hands

Now I'm going to burn one and wait for my friends to wake up and make a dank breakfast. We moved into a new apartment a couple days ago and have been celebrating with good beer and food everyday.

I don't mind paying 90 at my current dojo because that's what my sensei does for a living and he has dedicated his life to teaching Aikido. He's been doing martial arts for 65 years. That kind of experience is worthy of paying a little more.

yeah i know i shouldn't, especially with my drug history. i'm not trying to get into it though, i couldn't imagine being a legit tweaker. meth is only a once in a while thing.... always has. i love it, but i can't do it a lot for a long time. great for binging though lol.

That's how it starts out, only every once in a while
Then before you know it it's every weekend, then it's a couple times a week, then it's every day and at that point most people can't break free
It can happen so fast you won't even know it's happening, hell for the better part of a year I didn't have a damn clue what I was doing to myself with that shit, it's only once the charade is over and the smoke clears that you realize how much it has ravaged your body and soul
I just want you to be aware man, I played with that shit for a long time and I'm convinced it gave me permanent brain damage which I still suffer from to a mild extent.. meth addiction is nothing to fuck with

i'm already aware of it's danger. i binged on 300mg in less than 2 days and i was fiending for more so i hit up my guy and he hooked me up. heroin didn't have me hooked so fast, plus you can't really binge on h like you can with meth. meth and i can't be friends, even though we get into some wild shenanigans together.

A lot of people get hooked the first time they do it and don't even realize it, some even try to deny it
I did the shit for years without feeling guilt for it or feeling like hey maybe I have a problem, it was only after the ~157th bender that I really started to feel like shit and regret doing that to myself all the time
Nowadays if I do the crystal I feel like I've betrayed myself, and when the high wears off and I've spent another sleepless night doing pointless shit I feel like pure misery

i hope your parachuting it or something; an oral administration of the drug would greatly curb (or least extend your personal safety zone) the potential, that is to say the likelihood, of the eventual crash.
and if you don't stop, it's only gonna catch you like a hook to gill.

Nice
That's good, seems like that stuff is to attractive/addictive for people to use safely/in moderation.
I think its probably best left alone for me lol

Dude, had the same problem about a week ago. I got a qp of some "loud" which turned out to be half-cured homegrown. My people were like
In other news, I've not been awake long. So now I'm just chillin', watchin' Archer and smokin' a cigarette.

There's three kinds of people when it comes to meth
Those who will hate it, those who will enjoy it very rarely, and those who fall head over heels for it
I'm part of the third group and it took me a long time to realize that
For some people the urge to smash a line is irresistable
If the shit is around me I literally cannot turn it down, it's like I stop thinking on my own terms and become possessed
I've tried dozens and dozens of times and it always gets the best of me, every time
I've come to accept this and now I don't put myself in those kind of situations, because I know damn well what will happen
