so I work full-time, have insurance through my employer, whell apparently ive been covered with insurance, although my employer has not been making payroll deductions to cover said insurance for the last hlf year through a computer error.
whell, now they realized their mistake and need to catch up on the deductions. but before doing so they need/want me to sign a random, non-formal piece of paper (which is just an e-mail that says, I authorize for deductions to be made from my paycheck) the whole thing is making me kinda leary. they don't make any specifications as to denominations or frequency. I honestly don't think I should havetoo pay for their mistake? any advice would be appreciated

um yeah dude.. dont you look at your paycheck stubs? see what they are or are not taking out of your check?
this is on you man. you should iron this out and you should have to pay it, or just cancel your insurance until your next open enrollment

Did you sign up for the insurance or they just enroll you? If you signed a paper saying X amount will be deducted per check, and were covered by the insurance, and you didn't pay X amount it's on you.
If you were forced to have it by your job, and they fucked up and didn't take it out, I may argue a bit on that.
Why not just ask them how many deductions will be taken at what cost? When it comes to a job, anything signed in writing is formal. They have an email that you all sign, that's binding. and it would hold up in court.
Don't go nuts over it though.

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Psalm 12:6 The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Revelation 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
