Koods. Your ass got me to make a shroomery account. You should stop thinking for other people. Just because you're not comfortable around guns doesn't mean others aren't. Most people have the common sense to realize that if an evil person wants to hurt someone, they'll use anything they can. A federal appeals court on Monday upheld in large part gun control legislation passed in Connecticut and New York in the wake of the 2012 massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut. The ruling dealt a blow to the various gun groups that mounted a constitutional challenge against the laws, which prohibit possession of a number of semiautomatic assault weapons and large-capacity magazines.
no, not a blow to gun rights groups, it was to establish the law through the supreme court

I'm not afraid of guns. I think they are a crutch for people. People who have a craving for guns don't seem to be the most mentally stable or rational people.

A crutch? Yes. They are an equalizer for those that cannot defend themselves by other means. An elderly woman would have little use of a knife and would receive no benefit of having a baseball bat. Why do you think the police carry guns? To protect themselves!

People who are looking for trouble, such as cops, need guns. I think a lot of people who want guns are looking for trouble. Pro gun people seem to fantasize about "defending themselves" - like they would welcome the opportunity to shoot an intruder or overthrow a tyrannical government. A lot of it is macho bullshit and dreaming about being a hero.

So you choose to let other peoples decisions effect you. Why do you not like that some people need a gun to defend their life? When someone breaks into your home, you're gonna call the guys with guns. Probably.

No I'll hide in the closet. It's immoral to shoot someone to protect property. There are so few home invasions where the perpetrators intend to kill anyone that they are statistically irrelevant. Gun owners are more likely be injured by their gun, or have someone in their family or friends injured with their gun then they are to successfully prevent a crime. Gun owners are notoriously bad at judging risk.

isnt it also immoral to push your beliefs on others?

could this be why you defend killers, rapists and child molesters?

The reason I don't like it that people want to own a gun to defend theirselves it is statistically a bad choice, and it just feeds this country's sick cultural obsession with guns. Ultimately, it is this obsession that is to blame for mass shootings.Quote:

No. Last time you quoted a study that you actually never read because it was behind a paid firewall and tried to pass off some right wing analysis of said study as the study itself.

Anyone that tries to take property without legal authority has forced the property's owner into lethal conflict. It's the only way to defend property other than preventative measures, which can only go so far. Are we supposed to depend on the police who take hours to respond to defend our property and just accept that anyone who wants to take it can do so without consequence?

I spawned some popcorn casings and had double-overlay cause I didn't put enough hydrogen peroxide in my automated aquarium mister. I only got one mushroom so I cut off the head part where the seeds fall from and put it in a jar of LC and sprayed it all over a tin of PF cakes I made with gravel, cardboard, and bisquick in my microwave. I think it will be good cause B+ is so potent. Triggered yet? Only a square would say "a cube is a cube."
No, this does not look right...

no, to koods the only thing that matters is the empowerment of his precious liberal government and removal of guns from the hands of law abiding citizens with the horse shit claim that 'someone could get hurt', it doesnt matter that there were only 9000 homicides per year in the US related to firearms while medical professionals kill 200,000 people each year. why isnt he demanding we outlaw doctors

there's only 1 million doctors in the US an they kill 200,000 patients per year, there are 300,000,000 guns in the US and they only kill 9000 people per year in the US... which is the greater danger to america, guns or doctors
