long guns are dumb for defending the home, using an anti gunner as a human shield
while firing through them at an assailant with a fully automatic m60 is sensible

I prefer the m855, I here it actually gains energy passing through the first person and  will continue killing anything in it's path for 5 miles

No, it isn't. You can't put it in your pants, or in a holster, concealed. Therefore it is impractical. You can easily stop an attacker in public or at home with a pistol or a shotgun. If someone in public happens to have an automatic rifle, it's not like you're gonna be carrying your AR around with you anyway. A pistol will do. I don't care if it is infringement. Infringe the shit out of the Bill of Rights and the Constitution for all I care. The Constitution endorses slavery. Those documents are dated as fuck and we have every right to re-evaluate whether or not certain parts of them are still practical.

wow, so you like the idea of the cops searching your shit without probable cause,
seizing and selling your assets, being locked away for life without charge or
trial... that's what you're suggesting.

does it matter if a person carries a pistol or a rifle?

I want this^ though I want to have it automated so the controls to aim and shoot are on a computer in the vehicle.

Would also want a fleet of armed drones in the vehicle in case the the people in the pick up truck get away before I can start up the system.

that is legal in the US

the drones may be a little questionable because there's new laws coming out any minute now on them

I assume you mean home?

I don't think anything is going to happen but it is not uncommon for home invasions to be commited by multiple armed people. Happened to a friend's neighbor actually.

There is no such thing as a home invasion. There are only drug rip offs. When it happens in the ghetto there are no good guys or bad guys. When it happens in suburbia all of a sudden the drug dealer getting ripped off is a victim and its okay for him to shoot up the neighborhood.

Another dead kid I see in the media, thanks gun nuts!

Deadly road-rage shooting of 4-year-old Albuquerque girl began with lane dispute
Tony Torrez, 32, was arrested Wednesday and admitted to shooting Lilly Garcia while she was riding in the backseat of her father’s pickup truck with her 7-year-old brother
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.—Alan Garcia had just picked up his two children from school when it happened. He was trying to get off a freeway, and another car forced him out of his lane.

Garcia gestured toward the other driver and swore at him. Then, authorities said, the seemingly trivial episode turned deadly.

A man in the other car opened fire on Garcia’s pickup truck, hitting his 4-year-old daughter in the head.

It is a crime that has shocked New Mexico’s largest city.

The apparent road-rage slaying began with one vehicle cutting off another, police said Thursday, two days after the fatal confrontation.

Garcia told police he heard two gunshots. Then his 7-year-old son said, “She’s bleeding,” referring to his little sister.

http://www.rawstory.com/2015/09/texas-good-guy-with-a-gun-shoots-carjacking-victim-in-head-then-runs-away/

Quote:

Police officials say that two men jumped the owner of a Chevrolet pickup truck and absconded with his vehicle.

As the men struggled with the car-owner, a passerby produced a gun and fired multiple shots, missing the thieves but striking the victim in the head.

The shooter quickly gathered up his shell casings from the pavement and fled the scene.

Clearly there needed to be TWO good guys with a gun, then the second good guy could have shot the first good guy and this tragedy would have been avoided.

OMG just spent like 30 minutes trying to explain the simplest fucking idea to some English guy who apparently doesn't think gun control is working in his country. He was arguing that if "a sane person" had had a gun in the Colorado theater, then shooting could have been stopped. I tried explaining that if gun control were implemented, there would be no need to stop anyone, because the guy wouldn't have had any guns, since they were purchased legally. FINALLY after half an hour he understood what I meant and then he tried to say "But he would have just got them from the bloods, or the Italian Mafia". Right, as if introverted nerds like James Holmes A) know anybody in the bloods in the bloods/Mafia or B) wouldn't just get robbed if they had a bunch of cash and went around the ghetto asking random thugs if they knew where to get some assault rifles

I showed him the UK Office of National Statistics report of how many less murders there are in the UK versus here and he was like "Oh we have just as many here, they just don't get reported." Seriously dude? Give me a fucking break. Somebody gets MURDERED and nobody reports it?

Dude thats the dumb as fuck, nerds get drugs guns and anything else another person can, you dont have to be a certian level of cool to get a gun even if they were banned the only thing a ban would do is keep guns from people that follow the law

This is why your logic is flawed. There are 300 million guns in the united states. Even if gun control is implemented these guns are not going anywhere.
